I don't write anything down these days.
What are you alluding to here? - manvanfan
You said something like comparing JR to Benning like moves or trades . I can't remember exactly what was said but I could see the comparison . I should be writing things down because memory fading.

A very reasonable question. Did I expect JR to aim that high... probably not but there are probably a lot of people available on the ladder up to that level of experience that this team would benefit from. - boonerbuck

Friedman said yesterday Rangers want Miller . - VANTEL
Drury wants a big team so makes sense. Their fans are kinda dumb, they act like it’s the same JT Miller that they traded away with some of the poop offers they throw around |

Dhali said 5 interviews were conducted and a decision soon.
Mellanby (who I mentioned two years ago as a possibility for the job) I'm not sure I want him on the list anymore.
Allvin
Burke

The Canucks could get a nice mix of young player/prospects/picks.
Wouldn't it be a change to see the Canucks active at or before the TDL? |

They should for sure but it could be a step back . If we move JTM and Bo the team could look like last night but with Demko. That said the team has played well lately.

Not sure he's qualified for that...

I was in their blog several days ago when they were talking about acquiring Miller, most felt Lundqvist and a b prospect forward with a 2nd or something like that, was lots.
A few agreed with me when I said Schneider or Othmann had to be part of any package. |

I doubt they would move JTM and Bo, 7nless they think Lamikko can be the top line centre. |

Not necessarily, it would depend on the return.
In my mind, 2 or 4 should be traded: Miller, Boeser, Pouty or Horvat. In that order. |

yeah, the latter is what I would want, otherwise they can go (frank) themselves |

Trading either one is a step back IMO but should pay dividends in the future. Maybe Bo may want to explore the UFA market . Would not be the first Canuck to want to play for a winning team .

The conversations I've been in are about experience levels from my point of view. Not actual names. I never considered him... I didn't bring him up... nor think JR would aim that high. |

I would rephrase this to say "Nor think JR would shoot himself in the foot like that" |

JR and Bowman both have a dirty past if that's where you are going with this. Hiring woman doesn't change the past... or does it? |

I don't know how it will end up . I try not to get too involved in trade predictions anymore . I think there will be movement with Pearson Motte maybe D1ckenson or Poolman . I am looking forward to the changes but I don't know what they will be.
I am not a fan of Petey and like Rueben says two down years.

I'd be worried if the GM immediately trades young players who have had down time. Boeser on the other hand is a different situation with his huge qualifying offer coming at the end of a bridge deal.

That AGM from Washington sounded promising. I’m hoping it’s him. Maybe another player agent with GM aspirations? - Nucker101
I wonder if Ryan Johnson got another interview. |

Dirty past aside, look at Bowman's moves in Chicago. Pretty mediocre overall.

If he's impressed JR then I'm okay with him as AGM, but I'd be pretty shocked if he gets the GM job. |

I don't remember either. I just see a lot of the same stuff done by all GM's. Hit the occasional jackpot.
Lou isn't trading Devon Toews for 2- 2nds if he's thinking he becomes a top 5 league defensemen. |

I'm cool with dealing Brock. Good guy, but just not worth that type of money. |
