A very reasonable question. Did I expect JR to aim that high... probably not but there are probably a lot of people available on the ladder up to that level of experience that this team would benefit from.

They should for sure but it could be a step back . If we move JTM and Bo the team could look like last night but with Demko. That said the team has played well lately.

I was in their blog several days ago when they were talking about acquiring Miller, most felt Lundqvist and a b prospect forward with a 2nd or something like that, was lots.
A few agreed with me when I said Schneider or Othmann had to be part of any package.

Trading either one is a step back IMO but should pay dividends in the future. Maybe Bo may want to explore the UFA market . Would not be the first Canuck to want to play for a winning team .

I'd be worried if the GM immediately trades young players who have had down time. Boeser on the other hand is a different situation with his huge qualifying offer coming at the end of a bridge deal.

That AGM from Washington sounded promising. I’m hoping it’s him. Maybe another player agent with GM aspirations?

I don't remember either. I just see a lot of the same stuff done by all GM's. Hit the occasional jackpot.

Lou isn't trading Devon Toews for 2- 2nds if he's thinking he becomes a top 5 league defensemen.
