That's what you get for not playing dirty - BetweenTheDots
That's what we get because our Captain slammed his stick against the penalty box and got tapped with another 2 minute penalty. They killed off the first penalty, but couldn't make it the full four minutes.
I get your point that that first call was a bad one, but he acts like this almost every time he gets called for something. Tonight, he took it too far in a close game and it cost us. Count on a leader in his 30s to know when to rein it in...
But let's hope we can get it done anyway. |

Problem with being young you think you need to follow the rules, the opposite is true just keep committing penalties until they call you for one
The Wild have figured this out |

Kane on the partial break away and a min player throws his stick at him, no call. Someone needs to shoot a puck at the face of these officials before someone di4es on the ice. - powerenforcer
If someone shoots a puck at an official’s face, the official may die, no? |
|

|
See cross check by Seth no call |
|
|
|
I love how both hands come up to hold Cat no call |

Better an official than a player......in Bettmans eyes
|

That sucked, but i definitely would encourage my team to hold, slash, crosscheck, every chance you get, penalty calls are arbitrary |

And that is why Kubalik should never see the ice in overtime. |

Hahaha - well, the MN hockey media and fans are claiming Kane hooked 97's stick into his own face (obv BS), so no one is happy with the refs. |

Minnesota fans are ignorant!

I will just bring up, Toews had played the game the right way for years, worked his ass off, and for the league to turn its back on a veteran player who has put the time in, shame on them, its a (frank)ing disgrace. That's why the NHL is still in the dark ages. The blatant trip, blatant interference just in the 1st period is so disrespectful to a veteran player. Disgusting |

It has always shocked me, having grown up a basketball fan, how the stars in the NHL do not get preferential treatment on the penalty calls so that they are better protected from injury than the average player. Not that equity isn't admirable, but it has always surprised me.
As for Jonny, I suspect his constant yelling at the refs over the years has them looking the other way too often.

But as always Toews is the bigger person in the post game interview about the pathetic refs |

No, no one likes the refs. Some fans of every team in every sport are convinced the refs are against them. |

His constant yelling is valid, penalty calls in the NHL are arbitrary, this seasons script Wild get the benefit of doing whatever they want

Toews has been whining to the refs for years. On the play tonight he was barking at the ref the whole way to the penalty box. And we have no idea what he said. |

Well classic of example of how good teams find a way to win games. We saw plenty of this from the other side from 2010-2017.
That said, Minnesota got like 5 power plays in a row and in the interim should have been called for a few like that Hartman contact on the Cat or holding Hagel in front of the net.
Dach looks bad, out of position, poor passes and not seeing open players. He’s definitely not playing with a lot of confidence. The season is just about lost so why not play him though. Hopefully he’ll get out of this “sophomore slump” and be ready for next season.
They need to win a few more though to prevent the Jackets from getting a top ten pick.

Yes he did, and as much as I wish he'd pick his battles, I would much rather have his competitiveness and passion than have a player who is just here collecting their check.

DBC also not a fan of the officiating tonight

Hard to do anything when the league has looked the other way and allowed teams to hold Kane |
