Seen neither but will look for them. Saw The Clash open for The Who in Seattle in '82. Saw Strummer playing with The Pogues at The Commodore in '89, as well. He was fun in Alex Cox's "Straight to Hell" and I was a fan of The Mescaleros. Among my favourite muscians. - Marwood
wow that's incredible - some historic shows, you're a lucky man!
Boomer strikes me as more a Dayglo Abortions, DOA, NoMeansNo, Forgotten Rebels kinda guy. - dbot
Yes but I'm a bigger UK punk fan... grew up in the Oi! scene....
Stiff Little Fingers, Cock Sparrer, Cockney Rejects, The Business, Blitz, The 4 Skins, The Exploited, The Last Resort, UK Subs, Red Alert, Infa Riot, Combat 84,,,,
I could name a few dozen more. Later on I started to like the 77 scene but it just wasn't violent enough for me as a teen.
Love that the Canucks managed a point under these circumstances but not so much love for Hughes as the 3rd shooter the way Pearson and Motte have been playing. Also would go Hogz before Hughes....

I really don't understand not using Hog in the shootout. He might have the best hands on the team. It's not just Boudreau either, Green also refused to let him shoot.

Nitpicking at this point. We were fortunate to have our goalie perform that well and our D keep a powerhouse offense to just 1 goal. The PP getting a goal is a boon with out Miller and Horvat. It was a good result against a better team without a bunch of our best players.
