To Lunaion's question about what the Sabres do with Olofsson, I think it's straightforward.

If they are not 100% confident in being able to sign Olofsson to a new deal (more than 2 seasons, for example), then they should trade him by the trade deadline.

They cannot let him ARB his way to free agency.

it started with the great jeff skinner debate then devolved from there despite skimmer, his tallness and the rook who'll never live up to the eichel deal, getting two goals each, in a 6-2 blowout of the fly-boys...it was the first time the sabres scored six goals in a game this season and the win puts them on a pace for 66 points this season, right around the 65 or so points some here (
) predicted

I thought about your prediction when reading Vogels article.
I predicted 55...I have faith.

You are likely closer, they are playing better and should be healthier ... my only "hope" is teams are now ramping it up for the playoff push.

nice article...

am liking this quote: "Private jets are unable to burn 100% sustainable fuels, which are normally made from biofuels. However, manufacturers, such as Boom Supersonic and Rolls Royce, are developing jet engines to burn 100% sustainable fuels"

and this from energy.gov:

"Sustainable Aviation Fuel is a biofuel used to power aircraft that has similar properties to conventional jet fuel but with a smaller carbon footprint. Depending on the feedstock and technologies used to produce it, SAF can reduce life cycle GHG emissions dramatically compared to conventional jet fuel. Some emerging SAF pathways even have a net-negative GHG footprint.

An estimated 1 billion dry tons of biomass can be collected sustainably each year in the United States, enough to produce 50–60 billion gallons of low-carbon biofuels. These resources include:

Corn grain
Oil seeds
Algae
Other fats, oils, and greases
Agricultural residues
Forestry residues
Wood mill waste
Municipal solid waste streams
Wet wastes (manures, wastewater treatment sludge)
Dedicated energy crops.

This vast resource contains enough feedstock to meet the projected fuel demand of the U.S. aviation industry, additional volumes of drop-in low carbon fuels for use in other modes of transportation, and produce high-value bioproducts and renewable chemicals.

https://www.energy.gov/ee...ustainable-aviation-fuels

and that's where i leave this

- Michael Pachla

Ignoring the 1000 tons of CO2 being burned.

Just because you use sustainable fuels if you burn them they produce CO2

If the earth only has 9 years to live why not Zoom conference?

Gaslighting at its best.

I would recommend nobody get an apartment ever, you want to talk about an all time waste of money.

A good apartment will now run you about 15000 a year in rent alone.

I think renting is one of the worst financial decisions anyone could ever make.

Personally I think he is gone at the deadline if not then the draft but 90% sure he is gone at the deadline.

He doesn't really fit the model the sabres are building which is young. He will be 27 this year.

it's luck...they have ottawa and arizona, two very winnable games next, before they get into a very tough stretch the final 39 games...gonna be hard to hit that 65 point mark and if they do, it'll border on impressive

why you wanna pick a fight?...i'm not backing the richest 1% who "will account for 16% of total emissions globally by 2030, up from 13% in 1990"...

Because it is a public forum...and it was complete lunacy.

Yeah, some of it got out of hand. But the only reason the Buffalo market was brought into it, is because a poster from the WNY area brought it up saying you can't find houses in this area for under 200k, had nothing to do with Peg's stuff.

I think the younger generation needs to include this in their decisions moving forward

200 k in one market may not be as good as 80 k in another market when you factor in everything

The younger generation is quickly getting priced out of the home market, unless they have an above average job...my opinion, not based on Stats.
Factor in insane College costs, home prices escalating insanely , car prices through the roof...gas prices going up...jfc, it is a comp, ete and utter mess

The point continues to be it is a much different world than those over ~45+ started in.

Let's Go Brandon!

Like I said yesterday, my house in Hamburg that I bought for 165k would cost me a 500k in California. The markets are different everywhere.

So I am sitting here on my back porch, and that little rat dog has squeezed under my fence again and won't stop barking. Do I go out and get him or do I let Shadow out and let him have a chew toy.

Yeah, I guess. Why have a dog if you aren't going to watch it and take care of it.
