That's fine, he's bad.

Doesn't change the fact that your team isn't doing jack sh!t defensively in front of him to give him half a chance.

And blaming a guy that isn't an NHL caliber goalie is like blaming an electrician for not fixing your pipes correctly.

Did you see the podcast 20 put up a few pages ago with Gionta. Start listening about the 30-33 minute mark, some good stuff there.

Its a different game with a different goalie.

Also If he suits up the pads in an NHL game then he is an NHL Goalie.

Your analogy is just terrible. He is still a goalie. Just not a good one. Now you are just picking two completely different trades.

Dell is to blame, thats why he is terrible.

That was pretty much the perfect loss.

Quinn a goal and an assist
Dahlin highlight reel goal and an assist
Cozens goal
Tuch goal

All 4 of those players are key core players for the Sabres.

They had at least 3 guys that don't belong in the league in the lineup last night

Losing sucks but the more I see out of the young players the easier it is to stomach.

I am sick of losing but there just isn't enough talent on this team yet.

this team has been outshot 2:1 in many games during this recent stretch with mostly losses

being outshot 2:1 is the reason why we are losing the game

yet people want pysyk and hagg back so the gap can stay insane

in dell's last 4 losses where he started

he lost 5-4 on 47 shots
3-2 in ot allowing 35 shots
4-0 allowing 39 shots
7-4 allowing 43 shots

to sum it up on average we allow 41 shots and score 2.5 goals

with those numbers hasek in your prime is at best a .500 record

Thats the thing, no one wants to lose, no one wants to admit losing is the right thing but in the end the higher the draft pick the better.

Its a poopty situation

No, the analogy is perfect.

The electrician could probably get your pipes flowing again, but he shouldn't be doing it. He probably has some basic knowledge of how different things in a dwelling work.

Dell shouldn't be in the NHL. He's a minor league goalie. He can get through a game, but the results probably aren't going to favor your team.

He's in over his head.

It isn't his fault he's thrust into that situation, having to face NHL shooters pouring 47 shots on him, when he SHOULD BE in the AHL.

Look at the goalies the Sabres have this year:

Anderson 40 years old
Tokarski AHL goalie
UPL- was supposed to play in the AHL all year now hurt
Subban- was traded for NOTHING
Dell- couldn't beat Tokarski out in pre-season
Houser -ECHL goaltender

Honestly none of them should be the starting goaltender for a NHL team

So yes I like your analogy

he sounded like he was already dead on his last tour

he had a good run

I was shocked when I was reading on him this morning that his writer died last year, Jim Steinman

If we had a real goalie I am convinced we would be at least 500
- sabresfan69

maybe KA can go shopping for another goalie in the bargain bin.

who would have thought that goalies that are being given away suck
