I was trying to remember the last time the Sabres shut someone out. Looked into it and Ullmark shut out the wings 2-0 on October 25, 2019 they improved to 9-2-2. Since then the Sabres have no shut outs in the last 153 games. They've been shut out 14 times.

That's right, I'm better than you at life.

So many team scouting departments missed badly by passing on Robertson starting with the second half of the 1st round.

He was an obvious MOTO pick, but teams eschewed actual production because of the tired old skating issues nonsense concern.

Gerbe was all about picking Robertson that year.

It has nothing to do with a vendetta, you guys stroke his knob when he gets points, but say nothing when he doesn't cover his guy in front for a tap in, or misses the puck at C that leads to another goal. The kid has played very well the last month, let's see where it goes.
- Buff36

Speaking of knobs, your hard on for Dahlin's every mistake has reached comical levels.

What you'll say in 2 years after he continues to play well, while you still point out every single potential mistake, like trying to assign blame to him for a Seguin goal that bounces off Pysyk's ass:

The kid has played well the last 140 games, let's see where it goes.

It's ok to admit you just don't like a player, but at least be honest about it.

Already said he has played well lately and hope he turns into that stud. And Seguin doesn't get that shot of if Dahlin doesn't miss the puck at Center Ice. And he hasn't played well the last 140gms, know that's being comical. If you don't like my opinion on him then move on to the next post.

Gerbe's...
CONGRATULATIONS!!

Missed the opportunity in the last blog, but back reading got me caught up.

You certainly have matured quite a bit...and I enjoy this Gerbe. I was tough on you when you were younger, my apologies. Keep on bud, share your thoughts on prospects more too...it is your strength and is well respected on this board.

You will love being a father, most rewarding job in the world.

You are likely exaggerating the 140 games part. He was a disaster just a mere 25 games ago, and for the first 30 games last season.

36 is right, and those gasping at his game the last 20-ish are right.
It is ok to be balanced, his Zone Exits, Neutral Zone, and Sone Entries under control are becoming exceptional...and scoring/assist production as well.
Yet, he continues to have a lot more work to do defensively.

He'll get there and is developing very nicely under Granato, but he isn't "there" yet.

Good, great and elite players have all come through this organization this past decade, ownership should focus on providing a professional environment that maximizes the players ability, which Terry and Kim have failed at. Failing doesn’t mean not trying, like players and managers, if you’re not cut out for the job you should go. I hope they sell the team.

Congrats to you and your wife on the baby, hope things continue to trend upward with you.

Read what I wrote again, especially the bolded below.

In 2 years, Dahlin could have played well for almost the entirety of that time, yet 36 will continue to incessantly harp on every single little thing, while saying let's wait and see.

If you are going to try and assign blame to players like you tried with the bold above, there's going to be a whole lot of complaints you should be posting about every single night.

You don't do that though. Only about Dahlin.

Just admit you don't like him as a player.

Sure did, but a lot of teams missed badly on Robertson.

Skating issues, unless they are truly horrendous, might be the biggest non-concern when it comes to drafting a player.
