Yeah, it's a hard thing for sure to try and work out. Because on top of what they'll want, the Leafs gotta shed CAP.

So if Arizona takes one of Ritchie or Holl to make it work, the Leafs still need to find another team to take the other of the two. (I name those two because their CAP = Chychrun's)

You can make anyone sound bad. “Chychrun has 8 points this year and hasn’t been close to the top pairing he was last year, why would anyone pay a premium for him?”

The deal has to be $ in for $ out. If they take both Holl and Ritchie or take Holl and retain 50%, fine but the cost will go up.

AZ holds the cards. They don’t need to trade him. Also they will point out, correctly his # going forward is a steal @ 4.6

So figure - 1st probably want top 15 / current quality player / top prospect.
