But then again, that'll just cause panic and they'll rush guys like Ellis, Coots, etc. back, where they'll just get re-injured.

I do.

I have tried changing multiple times. But if I downgrade cable to just high speed Internet access from Comcast (which is my only choice), then the rate Comcast will give me for the former is so high that adding a streaming service to it would actually increase my total bill.

If there is a way out of this ridiculous situation, I would be grateful to learn wtf it is.
