Can't remember too many times when the opposing coach called his team soft in post game remarks after playing the Rangers.

Starting to look like Dolan was correct about the make up of this team the past few seasons.

It has to suck for JD and Gorton to have to watch this season unfolding. Still say they got it raw, w/o lube, right in the buttocks. But is what it is, they seem to be in better shape now roster wise at least. Not sure they would’ve built it like Drury did in the summer

Pretty sure Fox, Mika, Kreider, Trouba, Kakko, Chytil, Lindgren, Miller, McKegg, and maybe one or 2 more(?) all still haven't been in COVID protocols yet

I think JD is a bit more of a victim than Gorton. I said it before this season and I believe I'm being proved right: You can't sell me that you have a Norris trophy winner, and potential Hart and Vezina winners and then give me a line you can't expect much because we are rebuilding. Gorton failed to build the depth around a very talented core. The jury is still out to a degree on Drury, but this is leaps and bounds better.

Mika had it bad last year, hopefully he's one of those that never gets it again

I honestly think the biggest difference is Gallant. Reaves and Goodrow are factors too. But I think it was a culture change due to the coaching change that helped the most.

It was good.

I needed a break once it was 3-1.

You have to know the Leafs!! That was the moment we had them right where we wanted them!
The chirping from my drummer got steadily quieter and quieter as the game wore on.

Granted the team plays looser with guys like Reaves and Goodrow out there, but yeah, Gallant is the biggest reason.
Last season we would have likely lost that game in the first period.

I remember someone tweeted in the first period, "Of course Rangers are down 2 goals and the next shift Gallant puts Reaves out there"

Shove that up your pie hole Twitter nerd

I'd like to picture a main server room in a basement somewhere that hockey analysts use to crunch their numbers.
Now I'd like to picture that room catching fire and exploding when Reaves got his second goal!

I heard once that Moon was so messed up that at his funeral, Entwistle didn't believe he was really dead until they started pouring dirt on the coffin

he kept thinking Moon was gonna jump out of the coffin eventually

At #NYR practice and it looks like Dryden Hunt is back up with Panarin and Strome.

Chytil, Laf, Gauthier and Goodrow are all wearing the same color, so we’ll see how that shakes out once they start doing line rushes.
