obviously it will depends on what Hughes sees in DD, but more than that, it will depend on what they do with the team.
let say they're able to trade 3-4 players this summer and expect to tank again next year, there's no point in bringing a new coach. as a GM you don't want to burn your guy with a mediocre team expected to lose. in that case I could see DD stay. if of course Hughes thinks DD can be a good coach for the kids, which I do not doubt.

Sometimes a new coach can be beneficial before the best days simply because they can implement there strategies and build the team up from day one. Not saying DD can't, but if I'm betting the farm, he gone at year end.
