Every part of that story is weird. Who the (frank) needs that many different masseuses? Like beyond the ones the team already provides? Just weird and creepy.
Rodgers sounds like he's staying put. I'm really beginning to think there may be a reasonable trade market for Jimmy G which is pretty surprising - Takemedrunkimhome
i don't want rodgers. that has to be coming to an end soon, doesn't it? 38 years old and all. i don't want to trade stuff for one okay year and then a bunch of progressively worse years until the end and that's what i'd be afraid of.
the niners should take the best deal they get for jimmy no matter what, right? cause they're starting the young gun next year aren't they? |

Rodgers is an all timer but I'm not betting on anybody to be Brady and think a lot of his renaissance is scheme related.
49ers are starting Lance next year and aren't hiding that. I'd prefer Jimmy land in the AFC but I like him and he's been good to the franchise so I'd want him to find a good situation as he's still pretty young and can play for a while in the right scheme |

He's good at a lot of the stuff you don't get a lot of credit for like setting protections and run checks and all that. He can play within structure but isn't great out of it. He's often injured but when healthy, he wins. Guys like Philip Rivers put up really impressive numbers while never winning anything. Jimmy for all his flaws, he wins a lot |

You almost forget the way refs didn't call penalties unless you murdered somebody back then - Takemedrunkimhome
If there wasn't a guy hanging off of you or slashing you, was it really even a goal in the 90's? To be fair, there's at least 2 screens set by his teammates in that highlight reel that wouldn't go down today either. He was fun to watch. |

Injuries. They traded for him at the deadline Shanahan's first year and started him the final 5 games. They were 1-10 and finished 6-10. The second season he got injured in the 2nd or 3rd game and missed the rest of the year with an ACL. Third season they went 13-3 and went to the Superbowl. (His only playoff loss) Fourth season he gets hurt in the 2nd game along with half the team and plays sparsely the rest of the year. This year they made the playoffs but Jimmy missed two and a half games and is currently playing with a torn ligament in his thumb along with a bone chip or something in the thumb and a sprained throwing shoulder. He wins a lot but he's always hurt |

Not that I recall but I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. One of those goals in those highlights I'm pretty sure was Bure roasting Stevens and Niedermayer |

the beginning is actually a collection of posts from an old troll from when people knew how to troll and be entertaining. but now it's just a place where people copy and paste real dumb things that people say.
in the middle i think it morphs into people arguing about what the thread is for, real long posts or real dumb posts. the answer is that the thread is for both things. |
