Yeah the Seahawks are to me as the Cowboys are to you I'd imagine. A Largent jersey is pretty cool though - Takemedrunkimhome
oh yeah. i forgot about that.
what are we gonna go in a few weeks when football is over?
watching the flyers is, um.. not fun. i did watch the shootout the other night, which was the first bit i've watched since before christmas. that was fun but i don't know about sitting and watching whole flyers games right now. i could just break one of my own fingers or something if i'm into torture. |

I'm hoping Covid ends, the groundhog does whatever is needed with his shadow for six weeks less of winter (I can never remember if it's see his shadow or not) and we can go outside. Truthfully I imagine 2022 is like 21 and we won't be allowed to do much but I can still golf and fishing is a socially distanced activity...so as long as we don't run out of booze I'll survive |

yeah i don't think we're getting out of it this year either. i'm just hoping it doesn't get even worse before it gets better. (frank) all these variants. leave us alone already. |

Yeah I liked Deslauriers but he asked to be moved because Julien wasn't using him, wonder if he'd like to come back... contract is up this year... Although it looks like Pezzetta could do that job for the Habs... |

I just want decent weather early so I can have a long golf season...even that I doubt. At least when football ends, from a fan point, Philly should have a really interesting off season, so there's that |

absolutely, Habs have many cheaper options for the 4th line. too many really. |

for some reason i do think i want them to go after russell wilson. the buildup would be so fun even though i'm sure if he's an eagle his play will drop off immediately lol.
i mean, let's face it, howie's just gonna make dumb picks if they keep all three 1st rounders anyway. trade two and whatever else for russell and then there's only one pick left for howie to (frank) up. |

Wilson's play fell off this year but I still think he could win in the right situation. I heard a scout say there isn't a peer he knows that views any QB in the draft this year as a potential top 15 QB, that's bad. So it's either trade or build around Hurts.
Personally I'd build up the high value positions in the draft and give Hurts one more year but if you don't think he'll ever be a top 10 guy then there's no point in waiting it out
Edit: I think a trade for Wilson with an extension is all 3 1sts and Hurts, maybe more |

they did claim they're sticking with hurts but i really hope that was just coach speak. he seems like a great kid and his attitude is definitely right but i just feel like he'll never be that good. i feel like some of this decision making is flawed and there should have been at least some adjustments by now. when they're playing off, just throw the underneath stuff. especially with an arm like that. why he's going 20 yards downfield when a guy is open 6 yards away from him and has more space is beyond me.
if they want all 3 picks then forget it but if they want 2 and hurts plus then i'm into it. |

Yeah I'm always wary of giving up that much but "franchise" QBs are expensive...it's why the 49ers don't have a 1st in 22 or 23 for a guy currently riding the pine. Either way it'll be an interesting off season for QB movement |

with 3 or 4 more years of youth on russell's odometer i'd consider the 3 picks. just not at almost 34 years old when the season starts and the knowledge that he had an off season already which i have to at least consider could be the beginning of the downside.

I said that's the only one they're allowed to wear. That's Linden, Bure and Kirk McLean to me - Takemedrunkimhome
Bure is still probably one of the most exciting I ever saw |

I think you're right, he's a noticeable step slower. Rodgers lost a similar step around the same age but his game never needed it as much. Wilson has been an absolute nightmare as a 49ers fan because of the crazy athleticism to buy stupid amounts of time and either run or more likely toss an insane deep pass on the money. Lose that one step and so many of those crazy, jaw dropping plays never get the chance to develop. I'm not sure at this stage of his career anybody is going to get him to play within structure so I think there is an element of buyer beware here |

Every part of that story is weird. Who the (frank) needs that many different masseuses? Like beyond the ones the team already provides? Just weird and creepy.
Rodgers sounds like he's staying put. I'm really beginning to think there may be a reasonable trade market for Jimmy G which is pretty surprising |
