Wonder if they would take the 2 late firsts for Chychrun? Do you do it?

7 years of cap hell starting next year
- homiedclown

Seven? Don't you mean 3, unless you're counting this year, which would be 4?

Or are you counting less than $2M of dead cap as cap hell?

odds are if you trade the 2 late first round picks for proven prospects or players, you will get a better return then using them at the draft

Keller and Fiala would be nice additions.

How many draft picks would Arizona have just this year alone if they did?

Yes, but the post I replied to was talking about trading the later 1st round picks the Sabres have.

I'm guessing you're not trading one of those for a goaltender.

It would be pretty neat if we can add a 1st, 2nd and 3rd round pick to this year's draft. And then have the possibility to flip a few high picks for actual good players.

GMs still get rock hard for gritty low pairing D like Hagg. Go get us a 2nd, kiddo. And Miller, a bottom 4 RHD? A first? Yessir. Vinny, a utility winger? A 3rd is an acceptable price. Maybe Eakin or Jankowski gets attached to one of those to get a useful player back instead of a pick. Two months away.

Better idea, play him on the right side until the deadline. Show that he's at least Risto, point at the Risto return, get the Risto return, sign Risto to a one year league min deal, as a 7th, play him for two months until next deadline, get another Risto return, profit. Also, Miller gets the Risto return as well. Risto.

Would love to get Chychrun but don't see it in the cards. That would solidify our defense with Dahlin, Power, Joker and Samuelsson.

For that price?
Yeah, you do it in a heartbeat

I have 100% confidence that ARZ would not though,
they’d want at least 1 higher end piece coming back I’d think
