I see what you're saying, but I don't think he's stealing a roster spot from a young guy and he's a leader here. We all know they love him. So if you eat 3 million celery stalks, you could throw a poop ton of money at.. I don't know. Malkin or Bergeron? By the time we'd need them to be useful, they won't be very useful any longer.

Can he be moved? Probably. Other than cleaning house and let all the U23s run the room with Alex Tuch, I just don't see an intelligent reason. They need the cap, they won't spend in FA, and whatever they do spend in FA will be simply helping them reach the floor.

Just bc Okposo has played better, it doesn’t mean teams are lining up to trade for him
MAYBE we could move him at 50% off, but maybe not
