It would be pretty neat if we can add a 1st, 2nd and 3rd round pick to this year's draft. And then have the possibility to flip a few high picks for actual good players.

GMs still get rock hard for gritty low pairing D like Hagg. Go get us a 2nd, kiddo. And Miller, a bottom 4 RHD? A first? Yessir. Vinny, a utility winger? A 3rd is an acceptable price. Maybe Eakin or Jankowski gets attached to one of those to get a useful player back instead of a pick. Two months away.

It's a 4-way race between Mittelstadt, Krebs, Thompson and Cozens for two top-6 center spots. At least one, and probably two, become wingers long-term

Who ends up where is very much up for grabs. Ironically I'd give Thompson the highest odds to end up as a center long-term of the 4
