Bill,

Any insight as to what discussions are happening at the highest levels of the organization? Are they actually considering wholesale changes at the top? Are they considering throwing in the towel early and selling off. Clearly not even the most optimistic of people could actually believe a playoff run, a deep one at that, is even realistic. And finally, do you have any reason to believe the Flyers will keep Yeo behind the bench until the end of the season or try to get a change of direction early, if that’s even their plan?

There are plenty of rumors. Nothing I'd be confident enough in to call solid (directly sourced) or at liberty to post if it was.

I think it's inevitable there will players moved out by the deadline. Others in the offseason.

Yeo will finish this season as HC.

If that’s going to be the case why would they let Fletcher make those decisions? He went with a win now off-season and then immediately to selling. Pretty scary the state of this organization.

With both teams playing the second of back-to-back game, we can expect both teams to not have their skating legs, a first period filled with icings, and poor defensive positional play. It will be hard for the casual fan to tell the difference between a rested Flyers team and the one on the ice tonight

Maybe G + Frost for Newhook. Avs should know Frost will be good and we are just not using him properly.
- bradster

It would be nice if we can see Frost play a while longer in a top 9 role. I think the AVs would probably offer something like Jost and a first for G

No chance in my opinion that Yeo stays head coach even if Fletcher stays.

I could totally see them wanting to unload Girard. They will need some cap space soon.

I think the flyers could do better than jost +1st.

That would not be good. I don't think it will happen.

Call me crazy, but it doesn't seem like the Avs really need G.

True, scoring is certainly not their issue. Maybe a veteran D rental or an insurance goalie (Martin Jones) , they are currently icing Jack Johnson lol. Not sure when Bryam or Murray is back.

Bill how safe do you think Fletcher and Dave Scott are? I am reading that Comcast is really poking the bear here to figure out what is going on, so I'm wondering if they are considering more in depth organizational changes at this point?

I would think Scott is safe and its him poking around seeing what the underlying issues are.

I don't know, is Scott just a face Comcast gives us to create an illusion there is real person owning this team? I mean go read all the things this guy is responsible for: http://www.comcastspectac.../leadership/david-a-scott. Seems to me he could be in a bit over his head.

How well the Flyers do with a G trade will be dependent on if he gives them a limited number of teams he will accept a trade to. My bet is he will do that and it will be all East Coast teams only. Dont see him moving away from family for 2-3 months based on his previous comments. My bet is Pens or Rangers

They should direct them to the fan websites. Long time loyal fans are disgusted with the team. They can tell them what is going on.

I don't see G going to either of these teams, but if he does stay in the east maybe a team like Carolina? They would have to clear cap space to get him though.

The news conference they held in 2018 was all anyone needed to know that Scott was in over his head hockey wise.

If CC waives it will be to a team where there is less pressure than the others.
