And I'm sure you're probably right about that but Retinalz and I were talking Boeser/Miller specifically. So you know, keep up.
- Brooks_Light

Right, but if you read my post, I said he likely is talking to teams and shopping players. Could be any player its all speculation. So you know, keep up. Read what the post says.

Thanks Carol! It’s funny that Pettersson is such a bust, caving a horrible season and should be traded asap but has 8 goals on the season, compared to the teams most important player, Miller, who has 12. Speaks to the expectations for a kid who had a ton of early success.

Canucks will need to start another 10 game heater when they get back to get themselves back in the mix. Win one lose one isn’t going to cut it.

But will he continue to be this good for 5 years? I kind of doubt it....he's got 2-3 max and he's not signing a 2-3 year deal lol

I love him, but trade him for more than what we did. A decent young player + good 1st.

Teams adding Miller at 5M are going all in, and he can be the guy to push over the edge IMO.

That's a steaming pile of horsesh%t - there's a ton of great players league wide that hit their stride much later in their career and can maintain being dominate or effective. No reason to believe Miller can't do that. He's only 28, has had zero significant injuries - he could easily have 4-6 more solid years under him.

On a day to day basis, on average, how many times would you say people tell you you act like a fawking child? 5? 8?

Acting like you know who is and isnt going to be traded, imo, is fairly childish. Im also not in here ona daily basis, dont got that kind of time

If he was a real alpha they would've kept him.

True. Flavour of the month in here. You know who else has 8 goals?

Milan Lucic! no expectations there.

Wonder if JR is kicking tires on Klingberg. Kinda seems like the kinda dman he likes and has been talking about.

How is Sean Monahan doing these days? Bennett looks pretty damned good in Florida.

Doubt it, he isn't looking to deal futures. He could look to free up cap to add him in the off season.

Hell of a day, turned into one of the better two-way wingers in the show. Just took him a while to get there.

Lucic 😂That's a pretty good indicator of where your team is at, isn't it now?

Unless Boeser was the main piece, doubtful.

Rangers looking for a top 6 guy, Boeser might get a nice return from them.
Some players from there that would be a nice fit could be, Othmann, who is a fast and hard on the forecheck type, Will Cuylle, Matt Robertson on defense.
Schneider would be a nice get, but not sure if they would give him up for Boeser.

Othmann was a 16th overall pick in last draft, the other 2 were 2nd round picks in the 2 previous drafts, not sure what you think Boeser is worth.

Thanks Carol

Not getting what Vancouver gave up to get him. I get wanting to ship players out but at some point you have to believe in the team and try to end the rebuild. Not all teams can afford to rebuild like the Oilers and Flames, getting countless 1st overall opportunities, and still be terrible. There needs to be a plan.

- K-man25

Flames rebuild start - 2005
Oilers rebuild start - 2007
Canucks rebuild start - 2012

Nucks are ahead of the curve.

K-Man is chomping at the bit to use the James Neal comparison.

Kid has been a perennial 20-30g guy, always on pace for over 30, even this year his pace is over 20g. And people here act like he is worth a 2nd rounder at best.

Thanks Carol! Time to make Miller captain. He has earned it
- CanuckDon

1st guy that should be traded, worst turn over machine Vancouver has had in decades, and his attitude sucks.

Miller is easily worth more than we gave up. He went from a .5ish ppg player to a ppg player. Teams will line up for that kind of player.
- Retinalz

Miller would get an army of prospects and picks and young players. He's 28 I believe and awesome. He just doesn't fit our curve. Cash in on him
