All the Leafs made it into practice today. They’re definitely winning the Cup

Prep time about 15 minutes, cook time 20 to 30 minutes. Took me longer to walk the dog today.
- winsix

Come on Win, you might be under estimating that a bit.

After searing the meat, making the mushroom paste (which takes 15 minutes in and of itself), wrapping with prosciutto and mustard and then wrapping with pastry and the mushroom paste, then letting set up in the fridge takes way more time then your estimate.

Did you buy it pre made??? I won't tell.

I do not like my cooked meats to be bloody.
- dmnted

It's not blood, that's drained completely out during the slaughter.

It's myogloubin (sp?) and it's really, really good for you.

It's insane to me that this happens on the daily and the NHL straight up don't care how incredibly bad their officials are.

- GreatGigInTheSky

Least it just not the Leafs that are impacted by the refs.. The Arizona game was interesting.. Leafs only had 2 PP chances that whole game..

If the Leafs somehow got McDavid, there’s no way he’s playing C.

* * * * * *

Leafs could use one more capable Dman. I think every young dman did a good job this season filling in when called up though. I think we’re starting to see cracks in Muzzin’s game that’ll likely only get more noticeable. Keefe for some reason seems to think Sandin needs work, so there’s that. Dermott is a bottom pairing guy, Liljegren too. Holl sucks. Idk what his problem is but he’s been awful all season. Leafs are better without him. So they need 1 guy.

Holl, Ritchie, and a 2nd for Klingberg.

We'll give you Keith Yandle. He's really good at....tying his skate laces? Maybe?
- jmatchett383

He's very good at never getting hurt. Worked for Marleau.

Annnnnnnnnnd I just lost my goalie because Greenway deliberately elbowed him in the head.

Probably gonna lose this week and it's only just begun.

1979 ..I was 5 and it's stuck in my head 43 years later.

Maybe they were playing the long game?

Although when I eat chili I need a Modelo.

For a whole month all I had was Modelo, Corona, Pacifico, and Victoria.

It was glorious. I'm a pacifico or victoria guy myself.

Try a first and a high end prospect. Dumping guys we want to get rid of isn’t going to cut it and we need a more defensive guy anyway.

For sure. It's league wide how bad it is. Actually, every league seems to be getting worse by the year. NHL, MLB, all of them.

It's insane. It's like they think they can be picked up by video review to save them. But the problem is, that they're (NHL refs) the same idiots reviewing the calls that they themselves make. And they don't want to make themselves look anymore incompetent, so they hold firm way more often than they should.

MLB has no excuse for getting as many calls wrong as they do (with review). It's an incredibly slow game.

Thought so. I make a mean Wellington...actually on the menu for tomorrow...it takes a long time and very delicate process.

I find the idea that McDavid wouldn't play centre on the Leafs to be simply not believeable.

I'm not offended by the Pillsbury crescent dough - what the hell, it's cheaper and probably yummier than proper phyllo.

It's the pesto that offends me. What the hell?

And I love how Pillsbury (correctly) decided that 'muricans couldn't handle "croissant." They are crescent rolls.

I don’t think we need a “defensive” guy.

Leafs D need to be able to move the puck quickly, they don’t really use a stay-at-home.

Maybe for Dallas one mans garbage is another mans good ungarbage? Stars look to be going towards a quick retool.

Zero chance Matthews doesn’t play C, and doesn’t run the top line.

This is Matthews team, adding McDavid doesn’t change that.

So if I'm reading this right, you want to get McDavid so he can play defence for us?

I would trade in all of the other beers in the world for those 4 for the rest of my life if it meant warm weather 12 months a year.
