had fois gras once, in the middle of some hugely expensive multi-course wine paring meal on our honeymoon. It tastes like I was eating lard. It was (frank)ing gross. - Aetherial
I don't like the smell.
I don't like the texture.
I don't like the taste.
If it's a fancy-schmancy restaurant, the steak tartare or charcuterie board is always the go-to option. |

Add in Phil biting into a hotdog during the Cup presentation and Twitter would explode - PatC80
Need Kessel to use his day with the Cup just sitting outside of Simmons house and throwing hotdogs at his house every 5 minutes. |

I just want to apologize for all the unnecessary HB abuse you took for being a fan of Mexican lagers. (frank) them all.
You gotta appreciate a clear, maize built (low malt) beer on a hot day or with spicy food. |

no apologies necessary, being right isn't a burden on me
and it's true, sometimes you don't want to wash down a spicy pad thai with an imperial stout |

My brother stocks Bud Light Lime for his backyard pool all summer.
When you are drinking in the broiling sun, you want something light that you can just keep firing down your gullet. |

the Leafs Dubas deadline moves have been less than stellar that last couple seasons.
id be ok if he gets a player with term and not a pure rental - senstroll
You mean no moves two seasons ago and a move last season? Both sides of the coin
In other words you will never be happy |

MGD works great for that.
Plus, it's impossible to get drunk off it, so you can drink 20 easy. |

Athletic/scott wheeler counting down the teams prospect pool rankings
https://theathletic.com/2...source=emp_shared_article
I guess the Leafs end up around 15 or so.
Vancouver ranked 28th wild for a team thats not a contender to be that low - senstroll
I like the leafs system for being a playoff team the last 5 years.
Dubas nabbed some value.
I've never been high on Robertson though, think he is a bit overrated. |

Hearing NHL/NHLPA agreeing on no longer testing asymptomatic players and staff after All-Star. At that point, testing only required for cross-border travel and if a person develops symptoms. |

in 2020 trading for Campbell (who had term) - good
2021 - rental Foligno bad (like horrible)
2021 - rental Nash bad
in other words, Id stay away from Rentals |

Huh? a 7th round pick?
Who cares, no issues with a 7th round pick to use on depth.
You are just looking at the Foligno deal and acting as if that is going to happen every time now. |

prepared a whole tenderloin this way one night for a group of 8. It was nearly 100.00 for the mushroom mix, nevermind the beef which was of course well over 100.
Ended up being overcooked. I mean it was "ok", but it was pretty annoying to go to all that effort and expense and then it didn't turn out - Aetherial
Steak (especially when cooked indoors) is one of the toughest things to get right when you have company. If the guests have various preferences on medium, well, ect that is the first challenge. Three easy things that should be done, make sure any steak you cook sits on the counter till it reaches room temperature, use a good meat thermometer (I use MEATER - there are others some better some worse) After you get the steak to the desired temperature, make sure it rests the recommended amount of time before served.
