Comon man back to you, its just called being a good human being ? ( one could argue even jsut decent)

I totally disagree, if I was a soccer player moving to Italy to play there first thing I would do is at least take a basic Italian course, its just basic respect for the people where your going to live for a while

And yes 100%, if thats the only thing blocking him, to me that shows the characther ( or the lack off) and he doesnt have what it takes and he can (frank) off !

Oh...we can just agree to disagree after that

The reason I am more in favour for Hughes to get the job is that no one has any preconceived notion as to what is expected, especially given no one really knew about the guy until a few weeks ago.

With Darche, Briere or whomever the other supposed candidates, I think most people have formed some opinion on them (either good or bad), based on what they think they know about them....

With Hughes, it is literally a clean slate with no baggage... and the results will decide people's opinions.

Which would be refreshing.

good point, and while I agree with this, I also think that fans will very quickly form an opinion on him after he's made a trade or 2, even if the results won't necessarily be immediately apparent... I've never heard the guy talk, but I hope he's a good communicator and knows how to handle the media, for his own sake lol

I also think fans / media will be more patient with him, tbh.

The pressure is all on Gorton anyways.
