Well that's what I'm getting at. Stripes is trying to argue against this. The players in signing that contract, waived their federal protection concerning medical disclosure. - BeadyEyedDouche
No I am not. You're reaching again.
The CBA literally says players are allowed to seek second opinions of their own doctors. Only way to do that is to disclose their own medical information

You're wrong though, can I go around and tell other employees about someone else's medical history? No, but am I allowed to discuss another persons medical history to my boss, or to HR or an insurance company? Yes I am.
Can an employee tell other people their own medical history? Yes
Can a contract prevent me from discussing my own medical history? If it is in the contract yes, but the person who signed that is an idiot.
The CBA allows players to get second opinions, only way to do that is disclose medical information, so it is not in the contract to prevent him from doing so. - Stripes77
No you are not lol dude stop. Unless you are the person in question with a medical condition, the only people who would be allowed to discuss that are HR and insurance.
This is not a question man. It's to prevent discrimination. If you go discussing other people's medical history with your employer, you absolutely will get sued. |

If said medical issues prevent them from doing their job, yes I am allowed to discuss it.
If I discussed that person's medical history to discriminate against them, then it is a different discussion

Tell that to Eichel, who himself said it was no big deal and was out to dinner the same day. |
