The 49ers have been weird the last decade. Superbowl contenders under Harbaugh, then the drama of Harbaugh leaving led to some awful seasons under Tomsula and Chip Kelly, then Shanahan came in and got them to the Superbowl in his 3rd year. His 2nd and 4th years were completely derailed by injuries...you think Habs fans have an issue with Mulder...it ain't poop compared to 9ers fans and their medical staff.
I don't bet on my own teams. Mahomes and Brady made me some easy money on big spreads that should tell the NFL that having a 7th playoff seed is watering it down too much but the NFL will respond with $$$ and probably expand the playoffs further - Takemedrunkimhome
there was some turrbl football this weeken |

Getting the softest draw in the entire playoffs in the Eagles helps them too. Anything to make Brady's life easier.....and all of the calls. - Snots33_77
That roughing the passer call against the Eagles on 3rd down on the opening drive was such BS it's like "ok NFL...we get it...you want Brady to keep winning" |

Bengals v Raiders was ok. Josh Allen went all time and since it was Bill having to eat it it was still great. The two #2 v #7 games were awful. Nobody wanted to see Ben play another game including his family |

Good luck this weekend against my Green Bay Packers. Should be an excellent battle on the frozen tundra of Lambeau. And i hope Tom Brady smashes both of his cheating femurs. (frank) that clown. - Snots33_77
Lol. little jealous are we? He’s the undisputed goat. Keep whining. |

Yeah if the Pack win I'll be rooting for them but I do enjoy these Lafleur v Shanahan matchups...Rodgers is the ultimate cheat code though (not calling him a cheater, more that he's Bo in super techmo bowl level elite) - Takemedrunkimhome
Yeah man, if SF wins i'll be rooting for them too. They've had quite the rollercoaster the last few years/decade. I absolutely love the new-school coaching match-up as well, makes the games closer (or at least feel closer). And Rodgers is lights-out this year. No signs of aging. I love the guy, but he's been kind of a douche off-field. GB has to do it this year, they finally have the defense. But who knows.......... |

Gorton already knows Hughes and Brière. not Darche. - fidopro
i see on twitter a few people saying it's gonna be Hughes. for what it's worth, which should be nothing, i know a guy who knows a guy who said it's a done deal.

I know. Unreal. No doubt he's the GOAT, but that's the kind of help (plus a lot more) he gets game after game, year after year. Any fan that can't admit that has the blinders on. |

they will continue to say there are 3 names. These 3 names will always change, but they will always be down to 3 candidates |

1st game was good and was downhill after. Doesn't help when they decided to use cfl refs this weekend |

They say the Shanahan system (which Lafleur runs) takes a QB until 2nd year to run well. MVPs in years two and three because Rodgers is winning it this year, (after 3 straight seasons of at least 13 wins) is hard to argue with |

What Rodgers has done this year is pretty crazy. Just look at when they played Love for the 1 game and the team wasn't the same at all. This would/will be Rodgers 4th MVP, hopefully get his 2nd SB too. But have to win this weekend first.
EDIT: Love the Shanahan system too! But LaFleur hasn't venture off into the supreme motion game like Shanahan, which is fun to watch. |

Tom tore his ACL. The NFL immediately creates a new rule on how you can tackle a QB. Pretty sure QBs had knee injuries before that.
Joe Theismann was probably wondering if they'd have literally had to beat him with baseball bats for similar treatment. |

Motion tells you so much but pff had a stat on Rodgers which was if you adjust for a minimum of 500 attempts Rodgers has the top 7 all time seasons for TD to Int ratio. That's (frank)ing insanity for a guy who is always top five or so in YPA. Just crazy |

I like the Deflate Gate where he gets busted, allowed to play in the playoffs and the gets suspended for 4 games.........the following season
And how, as reigning SB Champs" they don't face a playoff team until week 10 (?). SB Champs are supposed to have a harder schedule.
I'm sure we could go on and on....... |

Yeah his ratios are insanity! He hasn't thrown an INT in his division in the last 2-3 years!!
