The trailer scored. All he had to do was turn and hustle back. He’s not the only culprit, but he didn’t make any effort to get back in the play.

Btw, if you’re going to step up at the blue line, you need to know you have back checkers and get in the passing lanes. None of that happened.

If he had skated full speed he wouldn't have gotten back in time. Sanheim was the only Flyer on the strong side of the ice at the point of attack. He played it correctly and defended the zone. As far as your last statement is concerned. When Sanheim stepped up, the Flyers had players back and in position defensively. Laughton curled off and Konecny stopped skating.

Watch the York goal again. The entire replay and please tell me again that Frost is not playing w good players when his winger was an animal on a goal that started out w Frost wildly tossing the puck in his own slot.

There is nothing Yeo would like more than for Frost to succeed, but similar to the beginning of the year, Frost actually needs to show up..

That's one shift and McEwen is a 4th line player and was a waiver claim. Yeo and the Flyers need to do a better job.

Konecny did screw up on the game winner and didn't score but he generated a bunch of chances tonight. One of the better game offensively he has played in a while. Still not good enough but improved. Frost isn't going to be effective playing on the 4th line.

The Laughton line was both the most dangerous line offensively and the more poor defensively.

You keep asking that question. It is an asinine question. Can you answer how much time Fletcher needs? Of course you can't. Your post here makes zero sense.

0 cause he should have been fired with AC. Moving on.

Hexy gets interviewed and says I need x number of years to do y.

He gets job and begins to execute. Now unless Hexy said I need more than 5 years from the jump to ice even a decent team he failed. Also after each year he gets called in again. If he needs to shift his plan he then needs to articulate how much more time he needs to execute.

No different than any other high level position anywhere. He is held accountable. There is not a GM job in sports in a large market that gets an infinite amount of time to execute their strategy.

You honestly don’t think Scott calls the GM in every off-season and wants to know how much more time they need to execute their strategy? You don’t think that happens w every president and GM in hockey?

He without a doubt needed to answer question and in my opinion a very fair question to ask. If you disagree I respect your opinion, but the question continues until one of his apostles simply answers it with a timeline. It’s about accountability.

Agree Mc is a 4th liner and Frost is on the verge of getting sent down again which would be deserving. The guys needs to show up.

Mc has actually been a decent pickup. It’s ok to admit that.

No GM had a crystal ball and can predict how long it would take. You've now switched from asking a fan how long it would take to a narrative of fiction and a GM being asked by management how long it will take.

Some just refuse to understand that the Flyers have never adapted to the NHL in the cap era and the years of mismanagement left the team in poor cap position and the prospect base empty. Hextall took over the team in that position and it took years to get that straightened out alone. He had barely begun to try and move forward before the Flyer lost patience and went back to their old ways. Which we see are working just about the same as it did before Hextall.

It has nothing to do with admitting McEwen has been a decent pickup. It has to do with putting Frost in the best position to succeed. To help a young player find his way and develop his game in the NHL. It would not surprise me to see the Flyers send down Frost because they suck at developing young players.

If it was just Mc, I would be okay. It is him, Willman, Seeler, Connauton, Brown at the expense of players like Sandin, Sushko etc.. that bothers me. As for Frost, stupid is as stupid does.

Ummm…. No it doesn't. No GM could answer that definitively. The can speculate but they can't predict the future. This narrative you have asking how long it was going to take is not an effective argument. We know for a fact that it took over 3 years just to get the crap Hextall was left with straightened out.

Wanna see a tape of a bad hockey team? Just watch tonight's game. Bad teams find ways to lose. Please trade Konecny tomorrow!!! He has now gone 20 straight games without a goal. He was actually in position to prevent the tying goal, but he didn't bear down as usual. I am totally sick of his lazy arse plays! GTFO!!! Wow, four more years of Hayes. Dude has to be the slowest skater in the entire NHL. Did JVR play tonight? I think I heard his name mentioned ONCE! York is an NHL player and Frost isn't!! Prove me wrong.
