yeah that's pretty dumb... and apparently he's against the vaccine but now he can't take it because of some sort of infection..?

Everything you need to know about thenguy:

Djokovic discovered he had celiac allergy. The son of a couple who ran a pizza restaurant, Djokovic eliminated all gluten from his diet.

One of the tests was particularly interesting. Djokovic was asked to hold his arm up, after which someone tried to push it down. It was difficult.

He was asked to do the same again, but with a slice of bread against his stomach. This time, his raised arm felt weak and could be pushed down quite easily. Bread was clearly his kryptonite.

Those people rioting aren't Djokovic fans, and probably don't care about tennis. They are just anti-vaxxers who found themselves a standard bearer.

I just hope things won't get as violent here if the government decides to make the vaccine mandatory

They can't really do that honestly.

...and as much as I am pro-vaccination, I don't really think the government should force anybody against their will.

The big issue I have is that most people who don't get the shot are misinformed, and follow "information" from false sources who tell them what they want to hear.

I don't know how you proceed forward at this point. The percentage of the population who did get vaccinated is beyond expectations. Hoping to get 100% vaccination as always been utopia.

Healthcare workers had a hard last 2 years, and right now the system is falling apart. Covid patients spend a lot of time in the hospital, and ICU cases spend at least 10 days there. That's what clogging the system right now and causing many surgeries to be postponed, as there is no room in ICU for post surgery care.

I'd put the blame on the government for being slow to react the last 2 years, but it seems the problem is global right now.

it isn't something that I want either to be honest, as I have the impression that it wouldn't really solve anything and would possibly only accentuate the frustration and animosity among the anti-vaxxing groups.

but when you say "they can't really do that", do you mean because of the Charter of Rights? I was wondering if they might have to go to the supreme court or something if they wanted to make it mandatory...

«Cet été, 150 personnes au moins sont venues faire le party. Aucun ne respectait les mesures sanitaires. La musique était très forte, personne ne pouvait dormir. Les policiers sont venus à plusieurs reprises, mais ils ne pouvaient rien faire pour les arrêter

Damn, really thought tests to see if you are celiac or not were more complicated than that.

If you'd like a small feel good moment...the Colts won't commit to Wentz as starter next year. That's just a massive trade win for the Eagles

What they can do is apply the vaccine passport to everything.

One thing is for sure, they decided to instate a vaccine passport, you can't go back and close everything again, impose a curfew, etc. Doesn't make any sense to treat the vaccinated and those who still refuse to get the shot the same way.
