That’s not correct as far as i know…what i did find was that she met him not that she was an intern with him hence why i didnt mention it: Après avoir rencontré Pierre Gauthier, qui était alors directeur général du Canadien de Montréal, Émilie Castonguay effectue un stage à Momentum Hockey, une firme québécoise de représentation d’athlètes appartenant à Christian Daigle

She initially aspired to be an NHL general manager but after an internship with Pierre Gauthier, who was with the Montreal Canadiens at the time, she realized she was more passionate about players' rights. That led her back to school to get a law degree from l'Université de Montréal.
