yeah I just finished it recently as well, and really enjoyed it too. maybe the fanboy complaints are about the series not being the same as the books, so they don't consider the series officially as "canon"..? I haven't read them so I wouldn't know.

The only complaint I may have is the way they treated Eskel...that one was a bit odd.

For the rest, it was really well made, and really enjoyable. I didn't liked Cavill as Geralt of Rivia at first, now I can't see anybody else play the character.

yeah but the moment you use the name of a series with hardcore fans of the books you know it's going to be heavily compared and criticized, even if you mention that it's "loosely based" on the author's work. oh well, sucks for them. good acting, awesome fight scenes, interesting storyline, I have no complaints.

now I just started Wheel of Time, haven't completely finished the 1st episode yet but I can see how this is gonna be a slow start, as some have mentioned here lol
