I think things like this are part of the inconsistencies with the team, if he plays this bad but still plays there is NO accountability with this team.
Maybe the answer is dress 7 defenseman play him 1 shift then he watches the rest of the game until he is so embarrassed he takes himself out of the game.

I’d also make his sit at the end of the bench after the backup goalie and he of course has to wear the baseball hat there!

I think he's down there knowing it's a delayed penalty and there's no risk going the other way. So, he's down low doing what he should be doing. Too bad he didn't score there.

If the forwards need a break I’d put him out on all delay penalties since the play stops when the other team touches the puck. There is less of a chance he gives up a a goal but I guess he could shoot it into his own net but I’m willing to take that chance to keep his streak going.
