Episodes 1-6 were all affected pretty bad by the Covid shutdown, 7 and 8 were filmed after and I expect are going to look and feel a lot better.
Looking forward to Witcher Season 2. The way the timelines from season 1 all clicked together eventually was really cool. - BINGO!
I liked the first season timeline stuff and had no issue with it but if Season 2 can prevent me from pausing every 7 minutes to explain to my gf where in the timeline they are I'd prefer it
no game tomorrow night...guess I have to pay attention to the wife.....I hope its not gonna be another chick flick...West Side STory here I come.... - Hockey Pucker
Honestly, I'd gladly pay attention to a significant other rather than watching that sad team play.
1-3 were meh. 4 was good. 5 and 6 were ok. Haven't seen the most recent one but gotta do a lot between football and the witcher as book of Boba Fett is 29th I think.
That said good to hear this is a good episode of WoT - Takemedrunkimhome
I was greatly anticipating WoT when I first heard Amazon green-lit it. I havent watched an ep yet. I know book readers are in an uproar over changes and pace but from what ive seen, theyve made changes that completely change the story. My question is: do the changes improve the story and do they make sense or are they more of a social statement change?

I am a heavy book reader.
Yes there are changes, but no, it really (so far, did not watch 7 yet) doesn't change the spirit of the books. They have had to make changes to push the story forward, condense some stuff, move stuff up to make this easier to understand later, etc...
The major change in the first season is told mostly from Moiraine's perspective than the person in the books (will leave it at that to avoid spoilers).
First 2 episodes are meh, but after that I think it keeps getting better.

Yeah I've read them a couple times. The shift in perspective feels a bit odd and some of the CGI is distracting early on, but you're right that as they get their feet under them it really gets progressively better.
Also, can't believe with a name like Mashadar that you're a WoT fan.

Between that, and having to rewatch episodes because of the wine, it took well over a year to watch GOT..

Maurice just quit as head coach of the Jets. I don't think he'd leave a good pay on the table for no reason. Team performance wasn't amazing, but it surely wasn't that bad either. I've got a feeling stories will be coming out in the next few days/hours about some misdemeanor...

I'm not a book reader although I've been told rhe biggest fear is out of the sex of a dragon which is essentially pulled out of an episode of Brookly. 99 which to me is hilarious.
Im only 2 eps in. Nothing ground breaking but its enjoyable. Christina Ricci is a psychopath haha. I like the Lord of the flies premise. I dont know what you know about it so i dont want mention anything specific
