for me it is all about the best draft position possible. Hopefully the guys they are thinking of moving will be healthy before the TDL and they can get decent value.

Having a few 1st round picks would be great....even better with the draft in MTL

I don't see them shutting down the league but I expect them to shutdown attending games in Canada, provinces will come down on that quickly in the new year.

I don't see them shutting down the league but I expect them to shutdown attending games in Canada, provinces will come down on that quickly in the new year.

as soon as they hit or close in on 500 hospitalizations in Quebec, it's lights out. everything will be shut down again. and if the last 2 days are any indication, we're about 7-10 days away from that happening.

i think the big thing for the league is going to be the border situation. as long as teams can cross the border, i think they'll power through. unless you end up like 6-7 teams debilitated at once.

a friend of mine owns a bar in Gatineau, he says it is a constant battle to have customers put their mask on when they are not sitting down, younger customers just don't care, they are invincible and they are rude to staffs. He is expecting to get shut down again in January.

my only hope is that they approach this with a bit more common sense. don't do blanket shutdowns. if hospitals in Montreal are full but in Quebec City they're fine, don't shut down Quebec City. if things are not great but not terrible, let restaurants stay open with some added restrictions.

but i feel like it's going to be a blanker shutdown of everything everywhere because it's too complicated to do it piecemeal.

I have not gone to the movies, or dancing, or clubbing, or to a restaurant, or whatever in almost 2 years. and I don't expect to do it soon either.
