Not defending him or supporting him, but at the end of the day, we have not seen a pandemic like this before. Plus add the level of fake info and vitrol out there, including people who refuse to adhere to the most basic of health protocols, this was never going to end well (or fast). In the past, we have mostly lined up for our shots, followed protocol, and done what is best for everyone.
Add to that we are a more global and mobile society than we have ever been.
So I appreciate the urgency around the request to help minimize the longer term impact, even if a little delusion around the hopefulness.
The whole "they said it was gonna be over and it is not over so they lied, therefore they were completely wrong about everything" crowd can just go (frank) themselves. - Mashadar

That's pretty much it. In the Spanish flu era, people were still getting around on horseback or by boat. Still lasted more than 2 years.
The end of this one isn't anywhere near. |

I don't believe they were or are wrong about everything, but he sells everything as an absolute. It simply erodes public faith in the long run. - mr.peanut
Legault adjust and is a bit more honest and admits there a lot of unknown
- Mrpeanut : he not clear, they dont know what they are doing, he leave place for interpretation, (frank)ing clown
in all seriousness : I Believe they are doing what they can and no matter what people will be unhappy, cause it sucks, period
i'm pretty sure if he'd known this would happen he would have stayed in the private sector |

Chiarot will look good on the Leafs D for the playoffs - Symba007
Don't even.
The problem isn't him necessarily, it is the fact that Dubas will give up a 1st and other stuff to get him. |

And he'll get in a meaningless fight, hurt himself and the Leafs will lose 1st round. This is the way |

It's not that he'd be a bad add for the Leafs as much as whoever trades for him likely overpays in my opinion |

He could be a good add, but yeah, someone is going to overpay, just like every year and the vast majority of deadline deals are going to end up as bad decisions. |

Actually, there are a lot of beautiful places in SNJ, but I was surprised at all the development around the area I grew-up in since I've moved away. |
