and im sure there's many like you. but there are many people who are comfortable doing those things and going out in general. and with what we see now, it looks like we're going to be stuck in this cycle of pandemic raging/subsiding/raging for possibly a few years to come, i just hope we can deal with the raging phases without all having to stay home for months at a time.

It's called an endemic. Like the flu. People get a virus and nobody gets killed...except the flu is killing 3x as many people and has since the start of this poop...oh wait, both only kill people 60+ and those with comorbidities.

Yeah, I pretty much care for my mom, who has gone through lung cancer (no way we want her going into any facility at this point), so we have been pretty isolated as a household - probably easier without kids for us tho.

I can work from home, so not a big deal for me, and I find that many of the people I have not connected with over the last 2 years, have not really been missed.

The important people are still there, tho.

So situationally, I can see how people have very different perspectives on the matter.

it's the forcing their perspectives on other people that's the problem.

everyone is gonna do what they're gonna do but the amount of people trying to convince everyone else that "i'm right and you're wrong" is amazing. especially the people just repeating stupid stuff over and over.
