On one condition. After I tell you what I think his point was, you don't reply on it? This board needs to be saved from your rhetoric. Not to mention that covid discussions should be kept off of here. - MJL
Dude, this board declined long ago, when you drove 80% of the knowledgeable posters away. Do you know how many people have PMed me, years after their last post here, warning me about you?
So forgive me for not taking your altruistic concerns about the quality of the board with anything but a laugh. Besides, I almost never talk about anything other than hockey nowadays anyway (which is how it was for the 12 years before Covid when I participated, all the time watching while you spent most days arguing endlessly and getting banned).
Now, cut the crap and serve me the rabbit. What you fear is not the rabbit hole, but me pointing out it is actually a rat.

You need to agree to the condition. Your ego can't handle that. Last chance

I think they realized Hextalls plan was going to take 15 years, and after 8 first round picks, had no studs in the system, and were not much further along prospect wise than when he started. That along with the toxic work atmosphere and treat past flyers like garbage. He had to go. - bradster
I see what you are saying, but very few teams that pick there end up with studs in the system. What are the Habs studs in the system? The Preds? The Wild (except for 1 guy)?
Why then do you have so much trouble applying exactly the same logic to the situation you describe? The vaccine lowers your odds of catching the disease, transmitting it, and falling seriously sick from it. These lower odds are NOT THE SAME as saying the odds are zero! No one has ever said they are! Just like you can draft a Pastrnak in bottom first, though unlikely, you can also get covid from a vaccinated person.
In other words, between two possibilities of infection, the more likely one and the less likely (but far from impossible one), you happened to be the victim if the latter possibility. Sad, but hardly unheard of.
Now, kindly tell me why you are able to make this distinction and accept it in hockey, and yet fail to make tbe exact same distinction in real life? I am intellectually curious.
Where does the mental logjam occur? - PT21
You're wasting your time. The unvaxxed have made up their mind. I'm just glad they're vocal about it.

Agree and that's why Ron isn't here. He didn't do what needed to be done to make us a better team, then and in the future. Whether that is getting higher picks which is what i would've liked. Or some other way to get the difference makers.

Dude, when I challenge you about whether you have a point or not, then it is understood that the fact that you do have one must be acknowledged by me, which, of course would need to be verified with a response.
Even a man with your towering intellect should figure that out, as well as, for instance, that it should not be written in Arabic, just in case you are confused about that as well.
Otherwise I might as well have just asked you to post the picture of you newly born, which would clearly display a large Richard and no balls.

I have no need for you to acknowledge anything. You're already cluttering up the board with this nonsense and by replying, I'm complicit. Not going to further give you an opportunity to opine with your rhetoric.
Your final comment is just further evidence of who you really are.

We may never know this for the indefinite future, and many people including myself just a coupla days ago have questioned this, but what exactly were Hexy's constraints about where to pick. If he had real constraints, and not all constraints have to be explicit, then the thing to do was to remove them, not remove Hexy.

As I predicted, you have no rabbit, and no point. Not even the inducement of a straight up payment of $100 nor a forceful challenge got you to reveal it. In doing so, you merely affirmed, yet again, that childhood diagnosis, and that nothing had changed since it's taking.
Now run along, and concentrate on doing what you do best: posting and endless stream of your endlessly confused posts.

Did you actually think that money from you would mean anything to me? You have no clue about character. I think based on your replies here and your refusal to meet a simple and reasonable demand. Along with your repeated personal remarks such as the male gentalia comment. As well as your recent comment referencing my mother and your past comments attempting to use my Father's passing against me. Shows who truly has a condition needing therapy. All you have to do is agree to the condition.

I am not really addressing the idiots and the obstinate.
In my large university, there are 28K+ students (grad and undergrad, 22k full time). There are 18k+ faculty and staff. There are also thousands of daily contractors, visitors, tourists etc. All of this in a relatively small city campus.
Our univ instituted an almost military style regimen of testing and vaccine requirement. We went back fully to in-person professional life this semester. All classes were in person (except for the immune compromised) and most meetings, office hours, advising etc. Unvaccinated were not allowed to register for classes. There was random testing, enforced strictly. I was selected 3 times.
Number of professional hours lost/disrupted due to Covid in the past 4 months: Zero.
Number of documented transmissions in classroom/professional meetings: Zero.
Ah too late, my good man. In my last pre-turning in peek, this sadly caught my eye.
Tell me something, which has nothing to do with politics or your sad infection: you here have long advocated for the Flyers picking high in the draft. This is in spite of players like Robitaille and St. Louis and Lidstrom and so many others carving out HOF careers while being drafted very late or not at all.
You do so presumably because while you understand you get nuggets of gold late, your chances of that happening are lower than if you pick high (or, in other words, getting star players is possible picking high or late, the latter is just a lot less likely than the former).
Why then do you have so much trouble applying exactly the same logic to the situation you describe? You have neither the elementary reasoning ability to figure out points, nor the balls to reveal that absence and take ownership.
Now run along: your original point of caring to keep posts germane to hockey has long since been shredded by your own continuation in this vein.
Translation: certain luminaries that used to enjoy undue influence and privileges were roadblocked to reduce the amount of noise and interference that the actual hockey ops people had to deal with on the daily here.
AKA, real culture change.
Good to know the country club is alive and well under CF. - Tomahawk

I am fully vaccinated but I am always skeptical of people stating numbers about documented transmissions.
I went to dinner with 14 fully vaccinated people. 4 later tested positive, all with non severe symptoms. Did they get it at dinner that night? Did they all get it from other outings? You never know.
