What are the odds of Fleury (playing in the western conference) arriving here looking for his 500th win? This season is stupid.
Add to that the Habs having 60% of their payroll injured for that game. Someone is doing some voodoo poop on that team for sure. - stinger67

Hains: Will the Kids Be Alright?
In a season in which the main aim is to develop the kids, coach Ducharme made quite an interesting statement yesterday. - Karine Hains
The kids will be allright
...as long as they are 4th line grinders. |

I wonder if Gorton and Molson got the message. the crowd chearing, probably for the first time this season, for an opponent player. un ti-gars de chez nous. quite a beautiful moment.
to MAF, and to the crowd
now 11 pts behind the LAK who have 3 games in hand. |

The original Animaniacs was an underrated cartoon. Never tried the remake, no interest in crushing my nostalgia |

I think Molson got the message when he canned Bergeron.
Also, what's the significance of being behind LAK?

Top 10 pick/keep the Habs pick and Yotes get Canes pick. I'm not sure who thinks them finishing bottom 10 is in doubt but that would be my guess. |

is the next draft considered a "deep" one, or after the 10 first picks it gets pretty bleh? because if it's the former teams might be a bit more hesitant to trade picks away. - Pat1993
2023 looks pretty insane. The top-3 are all guys who would be considered first overall selections in most drafts. This is before the inevitable risers/fallers too. |

Habs were lucky last playoffs, they got to face a forever jinxed playoffs juggernaut in the 1st round. That monkey on the Leafs players back must be enormous now. |

Covid impacted the development of some of the players in this year draft also, we will see some late bloomers come out, may players barely played or didn't play at all. |

yep, done deal. not only would they have to catch LA, but be better than all 8 teams in between. |

Probably. The CHL players are the most interesting to watch (especially OHL and Quebec Q players) who had the whole year off. |

they are basically fighting for the best odds to draft 1st overall....that's what they have left to fight for, race to the bottom. |

Q players played the most, OHL didn't play and WHL barely played |

A month or more back I (as one of the more pessimistic fans here) said I'd be shocked if they didn't win 30. At their current pace they won't win 20 |

Used vehicles are supposedly worth the most they've ever been worth due to the backlog from supply chain issues...but that bus probably isn't worth the powder to blow it up right now |

someone needs to explain to me why they are running Jake Allen ragged at this point. i would imagine the hope is to trade Allen to a decent team where he'd clearly be an upgrade on the incumbents (hello, Edmonton). maybe let teams see that he's getting a bit of rest now and then and won't be a (frank)ing overused dishrag by February? |
