If I didn't look up the standings it wouldn't have made sense to me either..drinking in 20 minutes...

is the next draft considered a "deep" one, or after the 10 first picks it gets pretty bleh? because if it's the former teams might be a bit more hesitant to trade picks away.

Habs were lucky last playoffs, they got to face a forever jinxed playoffs juggernaut in the 1st round. That monkey on the Leafs players back must be enormous now.

someone needs to explain to me why they are running Jake Allen ragged at this point. i would imagine the hope is to trade Allen to a decent team where he'd clearly be an upgrade on the incumbents (hello, Edmonton). maybe let teams see that he's getting a bit of rest now and then and won't be a (frank)ing overused dishrag by February?
