Auston can spot them a few mill.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping his future team out.

He might pull a Mario one day and just buy them.

Auston is going to ask for ownership of the team in lieu of an actual salary?

I thought Mario only became an owner because the Pens couldn't afford to pay his salary when going through their 2nd or 3rd bancruptcy. It wasn't charity, i think he was mitigating.

Yep

Again, waiting for 2023 for when the Penguins get handed their next generational superstar 1st overall pick to keep it going.

Yeah, they did owe him money so it was working out for everyone.

Especially when you draft Crosby a few years later and "save" the franchise again.

Thanks, although weirdly, my work computer seems to be blocked from ESPN.

As far as I know, it's the only website I can't get on.

Don't forget them drafting another generational talent to back him up like Jagr or Malkin.

Nope. Just some dude. 2024 not really screaming "great" right now. But these kids are 15, so...you know.

Planning drafts three years out . . . I remember when Liljegren was 14 - he was going to be the next Lidstrom!

Edit: It wasn't Lidstrom - it was Karlsson he was being compared to.

Poopload of tickets still left for tonight.

You can sit in the upper bowl for less than $100 per ticket.

No outrageous deals yet, but with the number of tix still out there, people will start to panic by 4 pm.

Well, I got a parking ticket while visiting my mother in the hospital.
Now, I'll have to watch the game at home.

At least Gord will be calling the game with Ray doing the color.

I'm just glad that, for once, the Habs are sucking in an interesting draft year.

Even if there are no real "generational talent" available. Plenty of solid prospect in that top 10.

HOW ABOUT YOU MAKE A BLOG ABOUT IT ALREADY?

The guy compared to Lidstrom in Sweden was Norlinder.

I mean, it's still early for him but I have my doubts.

It's why we watch the games. Kylington was also the next "Karlsson" when he was 16.

I remember when people thought Ekblad would be the next "Pronger" even though the only thing they had in common was that they were tall, talented and defensemen.
