You have to wonder if he’s hurt. As Tomohawk pointed out, in the pre season I thought this guy was a great add. He has looked so bad the last month. - ClaudeFather
for his sake I kind of hope so, if not, he needs to hand them up, I think the Panthers are laughing pretty loud right now

Like they'd need to do anything that fancy to score against the Flyers - Tomahawk
Well they did it against the Sabres.
Nick Schultz added to Flyers coaching staff, I guess Andreas Lilja wasn't available.

I disagree. The Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the Museum of Art are pretty cool.

Nothing quite says Philly like putting a statue of Sylvester Stallone in front of the most beautiful piece of classical architecture in all of North America. Stay classy, Philly!

It's a monument to all the tourists who tripped running up the steps since 1976. |

Agreed. Cheese steaks and the old city. Lots to love about it even though it’s hockey team drives me insane at times. |

I think he was already on the payroll -- they are paying a ton of cash to av and mt -- gotta cut costs |

I'll take a roast pork at John's any day over Pat's and Geno's. Those places are actually awful. Tourist destinations.

Jim’s was the best I had when I visited. I’ll have to try that toast pork when I am next in town. |

Lmaoo, Fopa21 is such a loser - ClaudeFather
Fopa21 reminds me of "Chris", who use to post on here and other Flyers sites. Every post was about taking the C from Giroux and how much Giroux sucks. Chris would also call you names if you disagreed with him. Glad Chris is gone. |

Of the teams problems, I think G isn’t high on the list. He’s been solid this year, injuries coaching and lack of progress by our young core players are to blame for this mess imo. Even if g was the best leader since messier you can only do so much. |

Do you think he was really going for the assist there, or trying it flip it in off Lukkonen and missed? - PT21
I don’t know if anyone asked Zegras that. I didn’t watch the interviews. At first I thought he was trying to bank it off the goalie, but on the replay, you can see that he knows Milano is there. I think he only tried it because his teammate was there.

some random additions off the top of my head, with the tourist perspective in mind.
1. Interior of Fisher Fine Arts Library is straight outa Harry Potter. Kids always gape
when they see it (free to visit, only need to see it from foyer, no need to enter, come after dark).
2. The very short (10n odd) movie by Spielberg screened inside that weird futuristic Dome in Comcast Center. Also free.
3. The mindblowing hot chocolate at old world Shane's. ( Through the door in the picture is where you order, past the chocolate displays ). The parent establishment, Franklin Fountain, is pretty famous with long lines. But This hidden delight just a storefront away is less well known. Not free, but not expensive for what you get.
4. The Barnes Foundation, with its jam-packed collection of impressionist art, the largest in the world afaik. $25.
5. The free student recitals at Curtis , the most selective undergrad institution in North America. Off-the-charts quality of performance. Many students go on from there and become world famous.

John's Roast Pork, Ishkabibble and the one at Angelo's pizzeria are better. D'Alessandro also. The 2nd and 3rd are 5 mins from each other by foot. John's was a disappointment this summer when I went twice. Maybe just unlucky. Angelo's one is really very good. Ishkabibble claims to have invented the chicken cheesteak and that is their most famous samwich. |
