And that's fair. I have confidence in Adams and Karmanos. Maybe I shouldn't, but I do. I personally agree with the path based on our group of U23 talent.

Tanking doesn't make this team better, and I don't think they are. I know they're not. But in the next year or two, they need to start acquiring Alex Tuch's, complimentary, strong team vets to get these young guys into the playoff conversation.

When you don't have a market like NY and Toronto, you've gotta probably trade and draft your top tier talent.

The Sabres can afford not to be this cheap and get better players.

They are voluntarily choosing not to do this.

It quite literally is. They traded their best players. They traded for a hurt player in Tuch (Kane), they played Aaron Dell for a month before trading Subban, they have Hayden and Eakin in the lineup instead of Krebs and Quinn, Butcher is here instead of Samuelsson and 100 other things.
