Tough spot for the Bill's, now going up against the GOAT without White.

This season has revealed several roster flaws on the team that will need to be addressed.
Bill's are overloaded at WR talent...Davis should be playing a much larger role and Kumerow should be on the field more. It makes Sanders completely expendable.

As mentioned by many here, they need an infusion on their O-line, specifically the C and LG positions .. and perhaps a new O-line coach? Not sure, but their pass blocking leaves alot to be desired and the run blocking even worse.

Similarly, the D tackle position needs to be beefed up with a wide body run stuffer who can pressure as well. Way too many holes up the gut of this line for game and spirit breaking big, big runs.
Would be nice to add a monster Nickle who can act as a big power guy to help stop the gashes up the middle while also serving to adequately cover the TE's. ..a big ask I know, but critical as well.

Beaner has his work cutout for him, those are all tough player acquisitions as nearly everyone is looking for the same and those that have them likely aren't dealing them away.

Are the Sabres going to be active at the TDl?
One would think so, bu they will need to navigate the Cap situation pretty skillfully.
With being about $6M over the floor, two likely candidates in Miller and Butcher constitute over that $6m cushion...so they will either need to hold Cap or take back a Cap Dump in the process.
Both are assets the Sabres can wield to driver a higher return than normal...so the TDL could be very interesting for this organization.

I think Homie brought up the NYI's ... very interesting in that the need about $4m in Cap space when/if Pulock returns..I don't know what other moves they could make themselves to get to the Cap space needed (waivers, sending guys down) but seems like they could be a great target...maybe work a trade to get their '21-1st and hope like hell they miss is a very competitive Eastern Conference for PO spots.

Fun stuff

Is he p,saying the right side down there? If so, boy that certainly makes me wonder if he IS the perfect partner for Dahlin.

At least there is some damn hope for the sabres in Rochester.... the key now is dont rush it... with the next two drafts we can hopefully add 3-4 players if that happens maybe just maybe. the thing that is different is they are learning how to win together in Rochester that never happened because they always skipped and went right to the

then we just have to hope that the skills in the AHL transfer to the NHL... At this point I would rather watch Amerks games then sabres games....

I think Daboll put too much credit into thinking opposing defenses would adapt to how they played. I swear the play calling changed in last year's playoffs. Allen is best throwing the ball 15-20 yards down field. I would assume stats would show he is extremely accurate and he has this rare velocity that does not give defenders enough time to get to it. The Kurt Warner deep in. They say it is the most difficult throw for a QB to make and it is what Allen is best at. My favorite pass of last year, possibly Allen's career, was the pass he willed over the outreached arms of the great Fred Warner right to Gabe Davis in stride in tight coverage. Never saw it again. I don't know, maybe defenses took them away or Allen is ejecting too early, but I swear pass patterns they had great success on are rarely called. Seems like everything is 5-10 yards. Why? No team can consistently sustain td scoring drives when you are moving 10 yards every 3 downs. They need chunk plays.

Mersch is having a good year and Samuelsson has been supplying a lot more offense this year, and they have been playing him on the Right side here and there throughout the games. And Robson got the win.

Amerks are fun to watch, they were down 2-0 last night and stormed back. Krebs had a good game and Samuelsson is playing very well.

I thought they were under the cap limit with the Boychuck trade and even though Pulock is out injured, his cap hit still counts, meaning they do not currently need to use LTIR to go over the cap limit, so when he comes back, they're still under the cap limit?

By far the best team to watch. Very disappointed Quinn couldn't play last night. Wonder if we can get a Krebs Malone Quinn line going.

Got a nice mix of youth and Vets down in Rochester. Think Mersch has helped those young kids.
