Over time I have learned that there's a popular saying around here, and for good reason, suck it K-man. 😚

Henrik and Daniel lost their 24 year old season to the lockout at 25 is when they really broke up. Petey got lots of time left then.

Anyways, I guess Alex Burrows is the answer and that was about 10 years ago.

Unlike some here, I've never really been overly concerned about Petey. It's not like skill just vanishes unless there's a hideous injury involved. I think Coaching is more to blame here. I suppose time will tell, starting tonight, whether my suspicion is correct.

Most of my interest with the change to Boudreau for the test of the season is seeing what he can squeeze out of this group compared to Green. Personally, I think there will be a noticable difference.

We better hope so! Boeser needs to be traded so let’s hope they can get more out of him. It’s unlikely they qualify him

I think Petey needs to mature into his body. He came into the league and was successful and has been until his injury last season.

Teams are leaning on him harder now and giving him nothing. He either needs to start playing with the same mentality as Garland or play with the same mentality as Garland and gain some lower body strength to stay on his feet.

Not saying he needs to put on 20 lbs in the summer but he's 23 years old now and still weighs 176 lbs. Sedin's were 6'2" 190 lbs. Should look to get closer to that within the next couple years at least.

Only one that would trade a guy who just came off a 49 point in 56 game season and want to trade him because the entire team sucks.

I’m definitely not the only one that wants to trade Boeser. But ok

I'm not worried about that either. All the best players have had their heart questioned from time to time when they were younger. Ovi and Sid, now McDinglenuts. It comes as a byproduct of the expectations they generate.

Tyler Toffoli out injured, upper body. Tough blow for Montreal's leading scorer.

Would be 4th on the Canucks in points per game.

Next GM won't have a mess to clean up because Benning never kept anything.

Have fun with the $7.5MM qualifier! We need more trash contracts to get out of our organizational rut!

I don't understand what is your obsession over that. It means very little.

There is nowhere says that they can't offer him another contract. Or Trade him if they don't feel he is worth it and won't accept another offer and if he is as bad as you claim. Why would it hurt to let him walk.

I’m saying at his current contract, he still may have trade value to a contender this season. When the contract is up, he won’t. So rebuild his value and move him at the deadline

Agreed.

Canucks have just over 11million in space for next season maybe 12 million if cap goes up a bit.
Boeser would get 7.5 of that so they need another 6 players signed with less than 6 million in space.

(Yes I am aware ot LTIR) not directed at you Donna

If you offered him 6x6, you think he would take one year at 7.5m?

Podkolzin makes Boeser redundant. The team will get another good player this draft and next.

I am noticing a couple of things about Boudreau, he is very calm in answering the questions, he gives thoughtful answers but he's very prepared. He is confident in his mind and abilities as a coach. He said that Walker is running the pk and I am excited by that. I do see why players love playing for him he wants to always be playing an up tempo game which will be very nice to watch.

I think he would say no. I guess that depends on whether he wants to stay or go to a good org

Then you can obviously trade him and another team can negotiate with him.
