so the US will be putting in place a "diplomatic boycott" during the Olympics because of China's disregard for human rights, but they will be supporting 'Murican athletes, who are still going... Canada is apparently thinking about doing the same thing. I know olympic athletes technically have nothing to do with this but shouldn't there be a complete boycott, instead of this half-ass hypocritical one?

yeah this is also why I'm kind of on the fence about it... the ideal scenario would be to have the games held somewhere else, but it's definitely too late for that.
