Pegulaville comes in here, cock out, pissing into the wind almost every single day and then when we throw him a towel, he wipes his ass with it and tells us how successful he is on the stock market. - BeadyEyedDouche
Bro I called more things happening prior to the 2018 draft then you have ever since I’ve been on this site.
I shoot 80%+ on this site.

Make a valid argument Hornqvist is more important than Barkov, Huberdeau, Weegar, Ekblad, Reinhart, Verhagee, Bennett, Lundell, Bob/Knight then ?
I’ll listen - Pegullaville
This isn’t, and never was, what was being discussed. As I said you entirely missed the whole point that was made to you. |

Let’s be honest, all of us have some sort of issue in one way shape or form if we come here day in and day out
Only a few though makes judgements of character, unprovoked, and have multiple aliases to troll for whatever reason.

Culture doesn’t score more goals than the other team.
Talent does. - Pegullaville
you say you get the point, but then your words that follow show otherwise.
Because no one ever came close to trying to say to you that culture alone could carry a team. It was said that culture is an important part of getting a talented team to become a successful team. Again, you missed the whole point. |

Culture is the first thing that a team needs to build a championship contender. After that everything else will fall into place. If there is a strong culture, then they can attract talent via free agency and trades. |

Brady and Bill couldn’t stand each other and won a Super Bowl in 2018 despite everyone knowing he was going to UFA following the 2019 season
All former players talk about how toxic the Patriot Way was.
Gronk retired, and then jumped at the chance to play with Brady in Tampa.
All the Patriots did was win, and they still are.
Why ? Talent and great coaching.
Nobody talks about Kucherov and an assistant coach throwing punches after a game on route to the first cup ? Why ? Cause they won.
Sabres went to a cup despite Hasek and Nolan’s issues.
Those Sabres teams going to ECF’s despite Vanek being a degenerate gambler.
Like common man, how can you talk about culture when we have no idea what goes on in an NHL locker room
But because Zito says it in a press conference, because it is the oldest cliche in the book, and everyone eats it up because they don’t want to dive deep into why their teams are actually struggling (thanks analytics) it’s important ?

It certainly is a damn good place to start, even if that talent is currently lacking. |

We’ll see if culture can replace Tre White in the Bills secondary.

You’re confusing culture with some sort of Kum-ba-ya everyone loves each other atmosphere
A winning culture is an expectation that you are going to work everyday to win. You’re putting on your jersey and representing that organization to win games.
That’s what the Patriots had. That’s what the Sabres don’t |

That’s where the Sabres are at right now. Starting from the bottom. IMO Kevyn Adams is acting like a salesman right now. He is building a positive clubhouse where people are happy to be here. When trades come up with players that have NMC’s, hopefully those players wave it. Also when it comes to free agency, the same thing happens, to where the Sabres don’t have to over pay. They have enough young talent in Buffalo and Rochester to make it intriguing for talent to go there. We all shall see what happens. |

The Bills are way beyond culture. They did that 5 years ago. You can still lose with a good culture when injuries take out your best players. |

Hasek and Nolan may have still had "issues", but Ruff was the coach when they went to the Cup. |

Yeah if the Bills lose people will be mad. Because there’s an expectation of being good.
No one will then talk about the corner they can possibly draft at 18

Im not talking about culture as in everybody is best buddies, I’m talking about a culture that refuses to accept losing, and all buy in to committing 100% to everything you do as a professional player. It can be done without being toxic like Belichik’s Patriots became.
Come on, man, It’s not just because Zito says it is, those of us who have watched this team could see the difference immediately. Hockey isn’t the stock market, there are intangibles that you totally discount, but they do matter.
