Don't blow it up, but they have assets they can use to upgrade a position or 2 without hurting the future.

nobody cares about the scrubs...but when losing starts affecting two top-10 picks (one of them 1st overall) in their early 20's, especially in light of two players entering their prime who were so sick of the losing that they got themselves a plane ticket out (not wanting to be in buffalo,) that's a bad trend

Again, you are guessing at what has Dahlin's head up his ass...I dare say it ain't the losing so much as it is HIS considerable contribution to it. His own play, IMO of course, is his prime concernn.
You are fight however in the stipulation they need to find his way out soon it he could be a lost cause defensively.
He needs a solid D partner, that would be the best thing they can do for him.

When Buffalo traded Risto, Sam and Jack we all knew that this team would be bad.
