At this point the Sabres might as well try to get Mike Smith out of Edmonton for a 6th round pick as soon as he comes back from injury so he can come here and get injured and we can trade for another crappy, injured goalie for "future (possibly sexual in nature) considerations".

We got a goalie and Dahlin is still lost, move along nothing to see here. You can buy a shooter tooter on eBay for 100 bucks.

It was honestly hilarious how bad our defense in general is

Poor subban. He was “excited” to get traded to the Sabres 😂

So Friedman said the Sabres are talking to Dallas on Khudobin....he's probably hiding in a corner sucking his thumb right now hoping it's not true.

Well he is signed for another year after this at 3.75m, and he meets AARP Sabres requirements. But be surprised if we weren't one of the 4 teams on his M-NTC

I hope someone int he sabres organization had a talk with 6k, quinn, krebs, peterka, samuelsson, and laaksonen because it's a shame they are not getting a handful of nhl games as we see dell and subban in net and stink, stank and stunk on the bottom half of our roster daily

"Under Don Granato they seemed to be getting better but over the past 10-15 games they seem to be getting worse...one problem that had gone away was the awareness problem. It's back big-time now where guys just have no awareness of what's going on around them and the puck's in the net.

"The other thing that is absolutely inexcusable, that absolutely needs to be addressed, is players that are giving up on plays. Against the Kraken four players were caught gliding back while Seattle scored easily. First empty net goal against Florida Rasmus Dahlin lost the puck and stopped skating around the red line. This game, Sebastian Aho goes in on a breakaway, Malcolm Subban makes the save. Casey Mittelstadt showed zero hustle getting back on the play. None. And Teravainen had an easy goal on the rebound."

the culture of losing begins to take it's toll just over a quarter of the way into the season as the sabres find themselves in rough waters going 3-11-2 beginning with their last game of october

When Buffalo traded Risto, Sam and Jack we all knew that this team would be bad. Almost everyone on this site was clambering on how great the draft is and that the Sabres will hopefully get a top two pick and how they have 3 first rounders. Now mostly everyone is bitter and salty cause they are losing. They are doing what is expected. What has changed?

The massive hole in managements plan that no one addressed, is this right here.

From experience these players will want out shortly, for value add purposes put Dahlin on rd.

the desire for everyone to stop the losing?

and to further your point, we all knew they had the opportunity to get off to a great start based upon their opponents and that once the competition got better, they'd be in trouble

This is bullcrap.

Casey can help change that culture by (frank)ing hustling back. Instead, he gives Subban a big ol' "Buffalo welcome" by hanging him out to dry.

The players on the ice are just as culpable for this "culture". How about you show up to play on every shift, like they were in the first dozen or more games?

Talent leads to wins, which leads to people not having to talk about culture.

Lack of talent leads to losses, which leads people to the “culture” discussion as it is often a crutch that people use instead of just observing the lack of talent on the ice.

Nobody talked about the toxic cultures the Blackhawks and Patriots had because they won, everyone talks about the toxic culture the Sabres have because they don’t.

Everyone is shocked cause it’s the same old same old. Things aren’t going to change und Terry and Kim. That’s the way it is. They are terrible owners. They will eventually screw up the Bills.
