Not as hilarious as the detractors who are not capable of realizing that Provorov has been a very good NHL player since he broke into the NHL at 19. He's very rarely had the "right" partner.

i agree, but he's our 2nd or 3rd best D man some nights, so take what you can get
hes been inconsisant but we paid him for when he is at the top of his game is what the issue is

Really can’t put G and Risto in that bunch.

Risto can be gone by the end of the season if need be, and it frees up cap room (though it’s probably time to see what you can get for him as a rental). G is not injured, and he has not been extended yet.

Given what he gave up to acquire him, Risto has to be extended. Lossing him will not be a good look for the GM. For all intensive purposes, Giroux is re-signed (and probably for too much and too long). It is absolutely in the Flyers DNA to extend him excessively.....

And yet all they did all last year was say how much Provorov needed Niskanen and it seems Provorov wasn't able to elevate anyone elses game the same way he did Niskanens. You also probably think Ellis would be nothing without Provorov.

Do they end up moving Giroux at the TDL if we're out of it, Got to think the return on someone like him could be healthy, expiring contract, if we eat the salary, Great add for a playoff push. Leadership (here comes the hate), great on faceoffs, still showing plenty in the tank. Hate to see him in another Jersey though.

First off he has to agree to a trade and if he does bet he limits it to an East Coast team like Rags..Caps or Canes. Gonna limit the return though think he will bring a late first and a B prospect if he is traded
