I don’t think you’ll see Farabee or Hart moved. I also don’t think Coots will be moved after signing that long term deal….then again they did trade Carter and Richards right after they inked their long term deals… - landros 2
No one is taking Couts on that contract which hasnt even kicked in yet...way too long term for his age |

The practice shouldn't be starting at 11:30AM. It should have started at 6:00AM and end at 11:30PM. This team needs all the practice they can get. They stink. - dubc55

If Couturier was made available, Fletchers phone would be ringing off the hook.

Again with the revolving defense partners trying to find a fit for Provorov, maybe its time to face facts ITS HIM. - Dr. Pepper

I thought Provy had a very good start to the year. He wasn’t getting any points but really was strong in his own end…then they moved him to the PP, which after a decent start had a few bad games. Not sure if that hurt his confidence being part of that gong show, but it looks like every guy on the PP is struggling wither confidence.
Or it could be that Ellis was his partner, and Provy was able to just play his game knowing he didn’t have to worry about the guy on the other side. Elliot Friedman was on NHL radio yesterday and said Provy is managements biggest concern. - landros 2
Yeah, Provorov should be expected to carry the dead weight of a career third pair defenseman and an career AHLer. |

No way....not with that term. Couts will only get slower as he gets older and he has been awful this year. Add to that his injury history and no way any smart GM wants him for 7 yrs |

It was Ellis, Provey just has not looked good with any other partner that him over the past 2 years. I would like to see a couple of games with Risto and Provey playing together, I think they can be a good pairing until Ellis comes back, but they are going to have to play the bulk of the minutes. |

Nobody really sees the lack of talent from top to bottom in the organization or you do but still expect the coaches to turn this lack of talent around? We’d be best off rolling 6 Corpses in wheels chairs and seeing how they fair for 3 periods. If AV can’t make that work either, yes, by all means fire him. |

So when some guy I’ve never heard of turnstiles him in the Ranger game that’s his partners fault? I agree his partner selections are limited with out Ellis, but Provy owns his play over last season and for the majority of this year. For the Flyers to be a playoff team he needs to be way better. He’s the one guy back there that they can count on. |

Apparently your going to get your wish. Risto also has to get better then he has been in the last two weeks. Although I thought he was good on Wednesday. |

I'd add Konecny to the list too. Frost as well. Atkinson if they get someone who can feed him the puck. |

I don’t think Couturier has had a very good November myself but I’m not gonna complain about a cap friendly deal he’s earned or what might the future bring in his play. Every play slows down but he’s top 5 in terms of two way centers in the game. |

Oh because you haven’t heard of him, that player shouldn’t have ability? The Rangers are pretty hot right now. Great start to your argument. |

I like Konecny. But if you want to get value he might be a guy to go. Frost is worth more in Philly developing then he is on the open market….your not getting equal value if you move him…it would be like Pennie’s on the dollar. |

He wiped out on his own and went into the boards shoulder first. Unreal.
This team is obviously going nowhere, their cap situation sucks, the GM sucks, management sucks. Don't see a way out of the situation they are in for the foreseeable future. - PLindbergh31

Jack Adam's award winner told us that the issue last year was lack of practice time. This year it will be injuries |

Clueless as usual. Why does everything with you have to be an argument? If you think Provy’s playing good then say so. I think he’s struggled and it’s on him….not on his partners which is what you are saying. |

This team is far from world beaters but I never envisioned the offense being this challenged. Especially the PP. |

Again, I'll ask a question. Is there a single skater that anyone thinks is having a really good year?
