Let me arbitrarily say that Beech gers a settlement for $5.5 mill. He pays his attorney.. Taxes? How much is he left with?
I think I the Blackhawks will s
ay that he was not a solid highly regarded prospect. Yet that judgment "developed" in the following seasons. At the time of incident he was a black ace |

Hawks playing good defense, Gus needs to stop giving the puck away. |

Gotta love the Kane / Panarin friendly competitiveness
re: McCabe, he mentioned on the podcast that his wife was due to give birth any minute |

So are they having Strome taking the faceoffs but Dach playing center, that's not a bad idea |

What a play by Hagel - BetweenTheDots
BTW...that is the DUMBEST rule in hockey. It was put in place 100 years ago when players didn't wear helmets to avoid players swinging at pucks over their head. The NHL need. s more scoring anyway. It is extremely difficult to knock that puck down out of the air. Those players that can do it should be rewarded for it because it takes great hand eye coordination. Just like the Andrew Shaw head butt goal years ago. That was a tremendously smart play and worthy of one of the greatest goals of all time. The only thing that should not be allowed is actually picking the puck up with your glove and throwing it in the net. Everything else should be good and GREAT to watch. Forget about making the goaltenders equipment smaller or the rinks bigger. Everything goes....then we'll see more scoring and watch how talented these guys actually are with that puck.

still? He was just a careless dumb kid who liked to drink beer and was immature. He though is a victim and I believe the Blackhawks should be held accountable. Uncomfortable but employers have responsibility. Yep I don't really care to read a lot about this but I am curious how this money grab turns out - big or small. There was lots of talk on this board so it appears there is interest to see how it turns out. He'll get his million from hockey. But not for playing. I guess closer to a couple mill at most. |

Borgstrum >> Dach right now. I’d like to see him get some top 6 minutes. |

Not defensively, and really he's not on the score sheet either |

Hawks are offensively challenged, and Dach is the leader of the group. I honestly don't see much difference from Borgstrom either. This team just does not want to shoot the puck. Defenseman repeatedly just throw the puck in the corner of the offensive zone and give up possession. How about throwing the puck at the net once in awhile and maybe a little puc kluck will surface and we just might see a rebound opportunity. Yeah yeah wishful thinking I know. I honestly can't remember when I've seen a poorer offensive team then this one. It's Kane or Debrincat or nothing. I guess it's the old Billy Reay days....play for a tie, then hope that the 2 Superstars get a two on one.

Dach’s equal defensively. Give Borgstrum a chance to play with top two 6 wingers and see what he can do. |

I see a lefty #13 and I automatically think Zhamnov for a couple seconds. |

Teams we play occasionally have one of their dmen hang out in front of our net. We can’t even get one of our centers to hang out in front of their net.
Toews 6’2”
Dach 6’5”
Borgstrum 6’3”
Strome 6’3”
If nothing else they should be good at screening the goalie. |

It helps when they are able to keep possession in our end for 2 to 3 minutes. Like Kane's goal no Hawks had any idea where it was when Fox scored, that's too bad, but they are still in it. |

It also helps that the refs STILL do not call picks in the offensive zone.
