K Mr Roadrunner
What’s the cost of getting Brandon Tanev at the trade deadline?

- K-man25

Honestly I am not sure Turbo will get moved. There are a few I think Francis moves but Tanev has quickly become a very integral part of the team personality and produces. He is not easily replaced. I don't think he is one of the ones that gets moved.

Gritty hard nosed 3rd line winger that produces? I'd say 2nd, MAYBE if a bidding war or someone overpays which does happen at the deadline a 1st but like I said don't think Francis moves him at all.

Utterly UGLY period there to start the game.

First goal just lousy and McCann screwing up the clear in their own zone. Back to turnovers 2nd was Crosby but Gru looked bad there, that one had a damn smell to it. Add a 3rd and man......

Overall stats shots hits faceoffs etc are all pretty close but comes down to just not starting on time and attention to details again. Just cannot be turning it over and being sloppy, and Gru cannot be letting in softies too.

Rough rough start and a pretty decent hole to have to dig out of here. That said they HAVE done it before and are capable and the 2nd period is usually their best. Fingers crossed here.

There it is 3-1 from Eberle! and now Matheson high sticks Gourde and Kraken get a powerplay.

Got to love how they go hard in the middle period.

D'Accord holding things down, guys pressing and looking for that 2nd one and ended up giving up a 2 on 1 and it goes in the back of the net again. 4-1 Pens.

And right out of the faceoff another odd man rush and Carter finishes it off its 5-1

Right up to late in the period it really was a good go. That goal revitalized the Kraken and got them going but that 4th one goes in, more because they got pressing and couldn't score that 2nd goal, and it just lead to the 5th right away again. It just was not a great period as only had about 15 minutes of it.

This has just been really a bad game overall on the whole and still 20 minutes to go.

Tanev some solid hits pops the puck loose and some great early period chances but DeSmith keeping it out.

And this is why I dont think Turbo goes anywhere at the trade deadline.

And then they go and get caught all three forwards down low deep and Rodriguez gets in behind the d for a break in chance. Come on guys pay attention out there

Lauzon if the guy isnt going to go either get back into the damn play or drop the gloves and throw the punch and make him go, stand there trying to wrestle and pin him on the boards?!?! C'mon!

Didn't like the hit, good for Lauzon stepping up and stepping in there but if you are going to do something about it then do it!

And Guentzel makes it 6-1. And ends up a 3 on 2 and boom beauty shot and nice passing and back of the net. Another bad odd man rush job there.

Concise and entertaining commentary RR. Tough game. Hope Kraken can beat the Jets for us.

It was a tough one there. They reverted back to before the run. They get running about. Out of position. Dont read the play well and get burned with turnovers and odd man rushes. Couple weak ones there on Gru that had an odour to them. I dont really blame D’Accord at all. He held them in as best he could.

The Jets will be an interesting matchup. They got away with a lot vs Toronto. Seattle is far less finesse and more heavy hitting grinding. Pionk out and the rest likely will have to stick more to a fast transition game. You dont want to go heavy and play into the Krakens strength.

Jets have the better tender though so going to be a tough one. Boys better get their focus and game back on track.
