I've probably watched that 1st round 200-300 times
Been boxing in a gym for ~20 years myself, but no contact - only for the technical skills and overall training. - 21peter
Back in the day a buddy of mine tried to fight a pretty good amateur boxer. He got his face pummeled and all the while the guy was begging him to stop.
My friend was a tough dude but he couldn’t land a single punch. The only thing that saved him is that the guy held back and just hit him hard enough to keep him off.
I finally convinced him to give up and we laughed about it for years.

Game day buzzards!
Leafs 5-3 - mr.sir
After practice, Keefe said Marner left practice for precautionary reasons. It doesn’t look to be anything serious right now.
Mitch Marner left practice for “precautionary” reasons, according to Sheldon Keefe. “It’s not looking like anything serious at this point,” Keefe said.
Marner will travel to Minnesota and be re-evaluated in the morning.

One of the interesting things at practice is Rasmus Sandin getting slotted in where Rielly plays. It shows that Toronto believes in him, and if Rielly can’t ever play, he will be the next man up.
Sandin was also quarterbacking the first power-play unit at practice today.

eligible or the calder - Zezel
Eligible but not likely Zezel. Raymond has 22 points and is on a line with Larkin. Bunting at 26 probably not going to beat a teenager for Calder. Something that will make Max dance is the fact that Woll leads rookie goalies at the moment with a 1.67 GAA

If Max is dancing I'm happy. I wonder if he still feels there is no reason to watch this team this season? He's missed out on some exciting hockey!
