Imagine giving strome 5.65M a year. Would rather be water boarded - jimbro83
Imagine if we could separate ourselves from the rest of the fanbase? |

really? usually you are pretty level headed- How much does a 2C get? So you dont want him bacK I presume? Such hate for a guy that has only been excellent for us over his time here. I think that amount would be a bargain for a .8 PPG player. Let the water boarding begin
I would give up on him if we could get Miller back tho

I don't even know why you guys read it.
I was reading comments about Georgiev today and while I am frustrated with him as well, the comments were sickening. It's no wonder so many people have mental issues today. So many of us like to participate in these constant contact online forums where all everyone does is rip each other to shreds. |

It's all good. I thought the same thing at first and then I realized it was just a dumb tweet. Jimmy should put them in quotes. |

No idea what those comments are, but I would let Georgie go if a viable option presented itself. He seems to have Gostisbehere-itis. He was so good early on and now I honestly don't know how they think someone might claim him off waivers. $2.45M for a guy who can't win a game.
I thought Kinkaid was at least as good last year. |

I completely agree but there's no need to absolutely poop on a guy with social media. He's playing poorly, he's not some criminal or other low life that deserves this treatment.
I actually think Georgiev has a lot of potential still. He needs to go somewhere else. |

What does Miller do better than Strome?....except take dumb penalties, and have dzone brain farts.
I like Miller, but don't see keeping him over Strome, especially with the fact that taking Strome out of the lineup will have a big impact on Panarin...at least for a short while |

Forget Miller.
Overpaying to get Josh Norris from Ottawa would be the better long term play because Norris is still on his ELC. His contract for next season and beyond would still be cheaper than what we are currently paying Strome. |

I would like Horvat. He is worth a trade of Kravs, Strome, and ? |

I rather have Strone too but for this and next year Miller might be more affordable and I do like him however. I think he has grown as a player since the way you remember him

He is making $4,5 mil now and has exceeded that deal. In what world is $5.625 million AAV for a solid 2c an overpayment? |

Unless Vancouver can sign Strome, why are they taking him? He is a UFA after the season |

Same goes for Vancouver and Horvat.
"Say, would you like to give us your good young Captain in return for a vet we don't think is good enough?"
(Disclaimer: I think he's good enough) |

Agreed. Yet, would love someone on Team Canada or explain why Othmann was not selected for the preliminary WJC roster. |
