That all seems sensible to me. I've fallen in love with Krebs and the idea of him getting 70 assists and 5 goals in the NHL lol, but you're probably right with Theo/Dahlin. Could've saved an asset.
Just not sure this was enough or if there's any way we were ending the losing cycle this year. Cozens, Mitts, Tage, Olo and others have made steps and it's still far from enough. - RhinoFan
i don't think there was much kagm could do this year...first off it's buffalo which, right or wrong, is a negative to begin with...add in:
--losing 2 out of 3 games over the past eight seasons
--the prospect of breaking an nhl playoff futility mark
--a sophomore gm and a rookie head coach
--plus what seems to be ownership not wanting to spend any money
and you get what we have...what competent vet would want to sign with the sabres on a market value (or less) contract?
next year should be a little different and should be the point where they start adding quality upgrades
It's not enough alone, but it's another piece to the puzzle. - Buff36
I get it and I'm with you, we need to start building this thing up. Late 1sts are years away, at least one should get moved this summer. I just differ on timing and this year's impact I guess.
