1- I Care less
2- at least it’s kinda fun seeing them put up points.
3- I knew what to expect. AARP, AHL, ECHL. Those are your goalies. Who expected different?!?

Is there too much inexperience behind the bench? Ellis has not been behind there long. Donnie has but not as a head coach. And I forget the d assistant… is it simply learning on the fly.

yup...although i believe the plan is to develop these players at the nhl level while simultaneously developing the next wave in rochester...which could very well work...gonna be a tough season, as many here figured...

The alternative was to try flipping picks to acquire players like Dvorak and Kuemper to keep it afloat and play meaningful games in March. They opted to keep the draft capital and build this the "right way"

i just don't have any fun watching losses...since 2013-14 we've witnessed 417 losses (336 regulation, 81 ot/so) out of 640 games...

to put it into perspective, they lost close to 2 out of 3 games over that stretch

I just don't get how everyone don't see it. When you sign Tokarski and Anderson to be your starters that right there should tell you that we are not trying to win.

I want to win, but if I have to lose I would rather lose 4-6, 5-7 then 5-1 or 6-0. Even when we are losing it at least is an exciting game to watch.

Not sure if many have thought about this scenario : None of the good UFA goaltenders wanted to come here so we had to sign Anderson, as he was basically the last one available. You can throw all sorts of money at a goalie, but if they don't want to play or live here, then what can the Sabres do ? Personally, if it were me and I had a choice between Buffalo and Arizona or some other nice-weather area, I'm not choosing Buffalo (not to mention we're a perennially awful team). I don't care what they throw at me money-wise, I'm never choosing Buffalo.

Now, if we're talking trades here, GM's have us by the nads as the entire league knows we need goaltending. I guess Adams is holding firm on what he will and will not give up - that's all I can think of as an excuse to why a decent trade hasn't happened yet. Maybe he thinks UPL and the others in the pipeline are the answer and he's OK with a season or two of horrible goaltending. Maybe he's the problem ? Guess we'll just have to wait and see how this pans out.

I also don't think they expected an All time NHL low attendance record.

I seriously think that the Peguals thought that they would fill the arenas still.

If you think the attendance is bad now, wait until the scoring starts to regress to the mean and they are losing 6-1 instead of 6-4
